President Trump loves America.
The NFL, on the other hand, is a cesspool of America-hating players.
And that’s why Trump absolutely destroyed the NFL in his State of the Union speech.
President Trump took the podium to deliver his first State of the Union address on Tuesday and it was an undeniable success.
According to a CBS poll, 3 out of 4 Americans who watched it approved.
The same poll indicated that 8 in 10 Americans felt that he was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it.
And 65% said his speech made them proud to be an American.
Those are astounding numbers and he nailed it.
But Trump didn’t pull any stops against the NFL.
It’s clear that it was his intention to embarrass the anti-American league and he did so in just six words.
Breitbart reports:
“During his State of the Union address Tuesday, President Donald Trump proclaimed that Americans “proudly stand for the National Anthem,” alluding to NFL players who have protested social injustices over the last two seasons by kneeling or sitting, started by Colin Kaepernick.
Trump recognized Preston Sharp for starting a movement to place flags at the graves of deceased soldiers.
“Here tonight is Preston Sharp, a 12-year-old boy from Redding, California, who noticed that veterans’ graves were not marked with flags on Veterans Day,” Trump said.
“He decided to change that, and started a movement that has now placed 40,000 flags at the graves of our great heroes. Preston — a job well done.”
“Young patriots like Preston teach all of us about our civic duty as Americans. And I met Preston a little while ago, and he is something very special, that I can tell you.
Great future. Thank you very much for all you’ve done, Preston. Thank you very much.”
“Preston’s reverence for those who have served our Nation reminds us why we salute our flag, why we put our hands on our hearts for the pledge of allegiance, and why we proudly stand for the national anthem,” Trump said.
“Americans love their country, and they deserve a Government that shows them the same love and loyalty in return.”

But will the NFL ever rectify their anti-American stance and the division it’s caused?
It’s likely that’s a “no.”
