Sports are no longer safe from aggressive politics.
Athletes are now expected to “use their voices” to push for whatever Democrats want.
But one top NFL draft pick is under from Trump-deranged liberals.
Leftists love when celebrities use their platforms to echo their talking points.
However, they destroy any celebrity who just so happens to have different views.
Zach Wilson, the number two overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, is now getting heat from leftists because he liked tweets in favor of Donald Trump.
A far-left Twitter account called “Resist Programming” went on a creepy deep dive into Wilson’s history and found some “problematic” tweets.
“Your last defender …Vote for Donald Trump like your life depends on it.”
New York Jets draft pick Zach Wilson liked a pro-Trump tweet saying “America is gone forever” if Trump loses 2020.

Colin Kaepernick was turned into a folk hero by the Left because of his radical politics, but leftists can’t handle benign tweets in support of conservative values.
The account even dug through his mother’s account and found that she followed some conservative accounts.
This comes at no surprise. Zach Wilson’s mom, Lisa, follows far right QAnon Marjorie Taylor Green, Madison Hawthorne, Melania, and a slew of accounts that serve bigoted and racist content for conservative consumption. pic.twitter.com/hrcFcHJl1c

Wilson was drafted by the New York Jets, so he’ll have to navigate plenty of left-wing nonsense in the area.
The New York fan base can be brutal, so Wilson will have to win them over quickly.
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa was in a similar situation after being drafted second overall in 2019.
He came under fire for having pro-Trump views on Twitter, but he was ultimately embraced by the locker room and the city because of his play on the field; Bosa won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
If Wilson struggles, the New York fan base has another reason to nitpick him, but they will forgive him quickly if he gets the franchise competent quarterback play for the first time in ageas.
Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville advised players not to get political, and this is one of the reasons why.
Politics is polarizing, but sports can be unifying.
