JK Rowling has been the target of nonstop harassment from far-left activists.
Her “crime” was holding views about gender that everyone agreed upon five minutes ago.
Now the “woke” mob is boycotting Rowling’s new video game.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling had long been a darling of the left.
Not only was she one of the best-selling novelists of all time, but she was a dyed-in-the-wool liberal.
Rowling still considers herself a leftist, but she became persona non grata for expressing the belief that men cannot become women.
In 2019, she set the world on fire when she tweeted, “Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real?”
Since then, radical transgender activists have only become emboldened, so much so that they’re aiming to blacklist anyone who reviews the new video game Hogwarts Legacy, based on Rowling’s book series.
Activists started a website called HaveTheyStreamedThatWizardGame.com, which is a database of Twitch streamers who reviewed the game on their platform.
Twitch is a social media site that’s most known for gamers playing video games while providing commentary.
Good to see the boycotting has naturally turned into targeted harassment. With its own database to boot!

The database is effectively a threat to any left-leaning Twitch streamers who were thinking about releasing content about Hogwarts Legacy.
Socialist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker admitted he doesn’t want the hassle of reviewing the game, explaining, “I personally don’t give a sh*t about that and I think it’s so silly. I don’t think people are going to genuinely be able to make the consumer side like a boycott on a game like this…The only reason why I’m not playing this game—and I know a bunch of other people are not playing this game—is because we know that it’s not worth it to get f*cking bullied endlessly and called transphobic endlessly when we have massive queer communities and audiences. That’s it.”
And it’s not just Twitch streamers.
Some video game review outlets announced that they will not cover the game.
A Canadian publication called TheGamer will not review Hogwarts Legacy, and will not create an online guide for it.
TheGamer editor-in-chief Stacey Henley told Axios, “This is not because of any issue with royalties or monetary support for J.K. Rowling, but because we feel the continued popularity of Harry Potter only provides her with a larger platform and further legitimizes her views, which we in turn feel are harmful to trans people.”
Leftists put ideology before everything else.
However, IGN reviewer Travis Northup lauded the game and said it was “the Harry Potter RPG I’ve always wanted to play…[Its] open-world adventure captures all the excitement and wonder of the Wizarding World with its memorable new characters.”
Ironically, IGN, a popular gaming site, bent the knee to the “woke” mob back in 2017 when Senior Editor Colin Moriarty, a rare Republican in the gaming industry, told a benign joke on International Women’s Day.
The targeted harassment might have backfired, however.
