Joe Biden’s unconstitutional mandate is still causing problems.
It could have been so much worse if the Supreme Court had ruled differently.
And a tennis Hall of Famer slammed Biden’s mandate for one reason.
The COVID regime refuses to relinquish power.
Many vaccine requirements remain in place despite evidence that they do not prevent people from contracting or transmitting COVID.
The vaccine mandates have been exposed as particularly absurd in the sports world.
All-time tennis great Novak Djokovic will not be allowed into the country to compete in the U.S. Open, the last of the four major tournaments of the tennis calendar.
Tennis legend and current broadcaster John McEnroe was asked about Djokovic’s plight at an MLS event, and he responded, “Well, first of all, I think it’s b.s. That’s what I think. I think he should be allowed to play. My personal opinion, as I’ve been vaccinated—I had a booster shot—that’s up to the individual. If I were him—and I’m not him—you know, he’s won a lot more majors than me. It’s probably because he’s dug in his heels and found that gear, that will that very few people in any sport have ever found. So that’s part of what’s made him so great, so he sticks to his guns, and he’s perfectly entitled to make the decision. The guy’s one of the great athletes, you know, in any sport…He’s very careful about anything he puts in his body, so it’s frustrating to see at this point when we’re sitting here and we’re all having a great time, you know, at LAFC soccer game, and that he’s not allowed into the country right now because he’s not vaccinated. It’s really unfortunate, but that’s the rules that we have right now with the government. I don’t agree with it, but c’est la vie at the moment.”
McEnroe has been one of the few people who’s been vocal about the nonsensical COVID restrictions.
When Djokovic won Wimbledon in July, McEnroe said at the trophy presentation, “These politicians are getting in the way too much…They did it in Australia. Let’s let the guy come in and play in the U.S. I mean, come on. This is ridiculous.”
However, the United States, thanks to Joe Biden’s COVID policies, followed Australia’s lead and barred Djokovic from entering the country.
Djokovic was unable to defend his Australian Open crown, a tournament he has won a record nine times.
Considering COVID can spread among the vaccinated and unvaccinated, there is zero reason for Djokovic to be prohibited from entering the country and playing in the tournament.
This is nothing more than COVID theater and a sop to Big Pharma.
Early in his career, Djokovic struggled with his diet and was forced to retire early in many matches.
But after clearing out irritants in his diet and being meticulous about his training, he has risen to all-time great status, only trailing Rafael Nadal by one major championship.
At 35 years old, Djokovic does not have many more shots at the U.S. Open.
The COVID regime is robbing tennis fans of a potential classic showdown.
