Taylor Swift went “woke” years ago.
She thought she would be able to appease the mob and grow her brand within the entertainment industry.
But Swift got busted doing something that infuriated the Left.
For years, Taylor Swift studiously avoided getting into politics.
However, Swift decided to get political during the Donald Trump era.
She endorsed Phil Bredesen in the 2018 Tennessee Senate race against Marsha Blackburn, who eventually won, and began infusing “woke” politics into her music.
But nobody is ever left-wing enough for the left.
Swift is being hammered for producing a massive carbon footprint with her private jet.
Yard, a sustainable marketing agency, reported:
“Taylor Swift might be today’s pop princess, but Yard’s research found that Miss Swift is the biggest celebrity CO2e polluter of this year so far. Racking up a total of 170 flights on her private jet since January, Taylor has amassed a vast 22,923 minutes in the air – 15.9 days. Quite a large amount considering that she is not currently touring. Taylor’s average flight time is just 80 minutes and an average of 139.36 miles per flight. Her total flight emissions for the year come in at 8,293.54 tonnes or 1,184.8 times more than the average person’s total annual emissions. Taylor’s shortest recorded flight of 2022 was just 36 minutes, flying from Missouri to Nashville.”
Amid backlash, Swift’s representatives hilariously responded, “Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals…To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect.”
Her defense was “everybody’s doing it.”
This is how elites think.
They crow about climate change while jetsetting around the globe.
“Legendary film director Steven Spielberg is sixth on the list, taking 61 flights this year and emitting 4,465 tonnes of CO2 from his private jet– 637.9 times more than the average person’s annual emissions…Spielberg, however, has the second-longest average flight time on this list, coming in at 107.31 minutes, or about an hour and 47 minutes.”
Leonardo DiCaprio is another celebrity who flies around on private jets while scolding people about climate change.
Kylie Jenner of the Kardashian clan also got busted flying private.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two more blatant offenders, as they are both vocal climate change activists.
Elites who fly around on private jets have tried to argue that they offset their carbon footprints by recycling and other such laughable claims.
The truth is that they would never be caught dead flying commercial because they’re just that special.
Nobody begrudges their ability to fly private until they decide to wag their fingers at the rest of society.
The problem goes far beyond Taylor Swift and private jets. Celebs, corporations and the uber-rich leaving massive carbon footprints is a worldwide trend. The wealthiest 1% emits about 70 times more carbon than the bottom 50%.

The elites are the problem, not everybody else.
