Hollywood has become the laughing stock of America.
You are already tired of their constant condescension and the inane moral authority they think they have.
But what porn star Stormy Daniels and a Hollywood mayor just did proves their oblivious hypocrisy.
Stormy Daniels is accusing President Trump of having an affair with her in Lake Tahoe in 2006.
As a result, she’s become a Hollywood icon for trying to expose the President of an alleged affair.
Ironically, they’re celebrating her even though their industry is embroiled with its own rampant sexual deviances.
These people delude themselves by perpetuating “equality” in TV and films, when many of the most powerful figures in the industry have been exposed as sexual predators or womanizers.
And Stormy Daniels seems to be capitalizing on her newfound fame with her Trump accusations.
Even her attorney Michael Avenatti has become super famous in the last month.
It’s kind of like what Dave Chappelle said in 2000 during his HBO special Killing Them Softly about Bill Clinton and the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal:
“He is a famous man. I have dreamt of being famous but I’ve never dreamt of being that famous. I never understood how famous a president was… Imagine if somebody could [perform a sexual act on you] and then they’re famous. You understand what I’m saying?”
That kind of publicity is the same tactic being used by Daniels and Avenatti to reach fame and fortune, regardless of proof. The court of public opinion is all they’re after.
Nevertheless, Hollywood sees Daniels as the sacrificial lamb who will save them all from the “oppressive” President Trump.
And now the Mayor of West Hollywood, John Duran, is honoring Stormy Daniels with an award for leading the charge in the “resistance” against President Trump.
But what’s unbelievable is that this is the same mayor who was forced to pay out a $500,000 settlement for a sexual harassment claim from a former aide.
Duran has repeatedly denied the accusations against him made by the former aide, claiming they had an “intimate” relationship after meeting through the notoriously gay and bisexual app, “Grindr.”
So it’s laughable that Mayor Duran just declared May 23rd “Stormy Daniels Day” in West Hollywood.
“Our values have been under threat by the Trump administration for the past year-and-a-half,” Duran said at the ceremony.
What values is he referring to here?
As one understandably irate member who attended this ceremony said:
“I think it’s complete B.S. This is so ridiculous. It’s completely hypocritical. The mayor who is giving this to her has silenced people who have filed sexual harassment lawsuits against him. And what connection does this woman have to the City of West Hollywood? I would say none.”
Exactly. This is Hollywood hypocrisy at its grossest.
