Old school liberals are frightened by radical leftists.
They still believe in the Democrat Party platform back in the days of JFK.
And Stephen King triggered the “woke” mob with one virtual-signaling statement.
Baby Boomer Democrats need to understand their party has been overrun by unhinged leftists.
Their outdated views and bumper sticker slogans are not only considered cringeworthy today, they’re “problematic” to the new “woke” scolds.
For example, today’s young radicals flat-out reject the message in Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
“White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo, who gets paid tens of thousands of dollars to tell other white people they’re racist, argues:
“One line of King’s speech in particular — that one day he might be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin — was seized upon by the white public because the words were seen to provide a simple and immediate solution to racial tensions: pretend that we don’t see race, and racism will end. Color blindness was now promoted as the remedy for racism, with white people insisting that they didn’t see race or, if they did, that it had no meaning to them.”
Now the prolific horror author Stephen King is learning the hard lesson of the left’s Orwellian “newspeak” multiple times.
King routinely virtue-signals on Twitter not realizing just how out-of-touch even he has become.
In an attempt to slam pro-lifers, King recently tweeted, “It has been said before, but it bears repeating: if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.”

Hackneyed talking point aside, King didn’t even realize his statement was transphobic.
According to wokeism, men can get pregnant.
Democrats and the media will say or report with a straight face that some men have vaginas and some women have penises.
It’s the fringiest of fringe ideas but it’s been mainstreamed by the radicals.
Actor Matthew Marsden – who’s been “canceled” for publicly expressing conservative views – sarcastically replied, “It’s 2023, dude. Men CAN get pregnant. Transphobe.”
Right-leaning attorney and political commentator Viva Frei joked on Twitter, “Men can get pregnant, you bigot. #CancelStephenKing.”
The true depth of the radical transgender insanity was made crystal clear during the Senate confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.
In perhaps the most indelible moment from her confirmation hearing, Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn asked Jackson, “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”
Jackson looked incredulous and responded, “Can I provide a definition? No. I can’t.”
Blackburn replied, “You can’t?”
Jackson answered, “I’m not a biologist.”
It was a mind-blowing exchange.
Funny enough, even Jackson’s response was transphobic because the activist “scholars” believe womanhood cannot and must not be determined on biology.
To the average person, “woman” means an adult human female.
However, to the “woke” army, the word is a nebulous term that defies science.
Yet somehow women, whatever they are, are granted civil rights protections.
Old school liberals like King have absolutely no defense against wokeism.
They have already ceded moral authority to the radicals, so they essentially need to go along with everything they say, no matter how banal.
That is the unfortunate deal they made when they chose to bend the knee.
