Colin Kaepernick started a disgusting, unpatriotic movement.
The anti-American anthem protests did considerable damage to the NFL, yet was cheerleaded by the left-wing media.
Now Kaepernick is jobless, so one sports host gave him advice he should take to heart.
Fox Sports 1’s Jason Whitlock poignantly identified the mainstream media as the entity egging on Colin Kaepernick in his reckless pursuit of some misguided form of “social justice.”
While the people hyping up Kaepernick enrich themselves, Kaepernick is forced to watch his career fade away.
From Breitbart:
Fox Sports 1 “Speak for Yourself” co-host Jason Whitlock reacted Thursday to the report that the Seattle Seahawks nixed a workout with activist free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick after he refused to commit to ending his National Anthem protest.
“I think that [Kaepernick] is filled with so much bad advice and so many people who have the appearance of being objective or have the appearance of being on his side, who really aren’t on his side, are giving him so much bad advice that he has chosen the path of ‘I’m going to be a martyr and a victim and be celebrated over Twitter rather than continue on as a professional athlete and try to rehabilitate my career,’” Whitlock stated.
He later added, “[W]e think a 30-year-old kid can’t get swayed and be moved by all of this social media pressure that’s telling him everything he’s doing is the right thing, and oh, my god, you’re making this dramatic impact on America. He’s falling for the okey-doke. … Colin Kaepernick is being exploited by the Mike Florios of the world, the left-wing media that is using him for clicks and attention and giving him bad advice.”
Whitlock is of course 100 percent correct—and his assertion was confirmed by Sunny Hostin on the “The View” when she proclaimed Kaepernick is “the new Muhammad Ali.”
More from Breitbart:
Friday on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin said former football quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who began kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games to protest, is the greatest of all time (GOAT).
Hostin said, “The most patriotic thing you can do is exercise your constitutional right. Colin Kaepernick is the new Muhammad Ali. He is the GOAT. He has put everything on the line for what he believes in, and that is what a true American does. My feeling is that, and there is a lawsuit—let’s remember there is a lawsuit that Colin Kaepernick has filed with the assistance of my friend, Mark Geragos, and he has filed a lawsuit that the NFL owners have colluded to keep him from playing, and that is exactly what they have done. There have been depositions in seven cities and the NFL is going to have to pay Colin Kaepernick. I’m going to make that prediction right now because they are keeping him and it is wrong. It is wrong.”
In the next segment as the discussion continued, Hostin added, “I love the flag too, but it’s a different experience for African-Americans in this country. And the flag has not kept up to its promise for freedom and liberty and justice for us all. What Colin Kaepernick is calling upon people like you and people like me and our viewers and NFL watchers, is to demand that every single American has the same freedom and justice and liberty regardless of skin color, regardless of race, regardless of creed. And that is—very American.”
Hostin isn’t the only one spouting this rhetoric. Carron Phillips of the New York Daily News went so far as to say he hoped Kaepernick didn’t play again because he was more valuable as a martyr and social activist.
While activists agitate inner city communities and leave destruction in their wake, Kaepernick loses out on millions of dollars.
Kaepernick isn’t taking a stand for justice. He’s falling for the predation of the far left. That’s why he made his un-American public display and praised the work of communist dictator Fidel Castro.
Kaepernick is the quintessential “useful idiot.”
