Hollywood’s modus operandi is to shame President Trump’s supporters into oblivion. Of course, that won’t happen but there’s no question that’s the elitists’ main tactic.
And nobody in Hollywood is worse than acclaimed film director Rob Reiner who disgracefully bashes Trump, his supporters and his administration every chance he gets.
But Rob Reiner just crossed the line again with this outrageously hyperbolic anti-Trump comment.
Hyperbole is what these devout leftists and progressive liberals live by.
How many times have we seen the fake news mainstream media talk about Trump like he’s Adolf Hitler, or worse, the devil himself? How many times have major Hollywood players threatened to assassinate President Trump? That list includes A-listers like Johnny Depp and Madonna.
These are the hyperbolic tricks they pull: make it seem like he’s the worst person alive every single day until it sinks in. They all know this isn’t true, but they persist anyway.
Rob Reiner is the worst of them in Hollywood.
The film director known for “Stand By Me” and “A Few Good Men” has built a late career slandering Trump, especially because his career as a film director is all but over since he hasn’t made a hit since “The Bucket List” in 2007.
Reiner has said “Donald Trump’s mental illness is killing people” and has called him a “sociopath” on several different occasions recently.
But last week he tipped the bucket when he wrote one sentence on Twitter: “A vote for Trump is a vote for Death.” Yes, he capitalized the “d” in “Death” because he wanted to emphasize his hyperbole even more.
This tweet is perpetuating the narrative that Trump’s administration is responsible for the deaths of all Americans who have died from the coronavirus – something that was literally out of his hands. What’s he supposed to do? Stand on the street with a sign that says “social distancing please”?
It’s nonsense to think President Trump is responsible when it’s already globally known that this is all China’s fault. These Hollywood elitists want to distract from the reality that China is their main business partner and losing them would be detrimental to their bottom line.
That’s why Disney bends over backwards to Chinese censors so they can distribute in the country filled with approximately 1.5 billion people. They need that money, badly.
That goes for the NBA too. When Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted support for the pro-democracy Hong Kong protesters, the NBA and its superstar players condemned his sentiment because they don’t want to tick off the communist regime, which they did.
Not only did China threaten to pull the NBA from the country entirely, they “punished” the league by not airing preseason games.
Meanwhile, LeBron James stood on his high horse and called Morey “uneducated” but the real reason he said that is because Nike has sweatshop factories in China and “Space Jam 2” is supposed to open next summer. James has no problem criticizing our democracy and uplifting a communist regime.
This is all manipulation to hide the actual truth, which is they’re all so terrified of a second term for President Trump. They can think they’re tricking you with this hyperbole but only a fool would believe these entitled millionaires.
