Tucker Carlson is near the top of liberals’ villains list.
Some hate him more than even Donald Trump. But one star from The Office stunned liberals with one sentence about Carlson.
Actor Rainn Wilson, who starred as Dwight Schrute in the American version of the hit sitcom The Office, broke ranks from Hollywood liberals and said something positive about Tucker Carlson.
Fox News recently yanked Carlson off the air, much to the delight of the Left as well as establishment Republicans.
A couple of days after his abrupt removal from Fox News, Carlson issued a brief Twitter message that went viral; the tweet has been viewed nearly 80 million times.
Carlson’s message essentially attacked the uniparty that stifles dissent.
And Rainn Wilson agreed with the message.
He wrote on Twitter, “I never thought I’d say it but I agree with Tucker Carlson on almost everything he’s saying here.”
In his video, Carlson said, “One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country, kind and decent people, people who really care about what’s true and a bunch of hilarious people — also, a lot of those…The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are, they’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them, trust me as someone who’s participated.”
Carlson also detailed how big issues get ignored by the corporate press because the elites have already reached a consensus.
“And yet at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all: war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources…When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media. Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it,” Carlson continued.

It’s not hard to understand why a message like that would resonate with Wilson or anyone else who is not ideologically possessed.
Wilson recently ran afoul of the “woke” mob when he called out the hostility Christians have faced in the entertainment industry.
Wilson wrote on social media, “I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood. As soon as the David character in ‘The Last of Us’ started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain. Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?”
If Wilson isn’t careful, he will get labeled a conservative.
