The “woke” outrage mob is getting bolder by the minute.
Celebrities as well as private citizens run the risk of having their lives blown up by vindictive online critics.
But the pro-Trump UFC owner destroyed cancel culture with three words.
Dana White isn’t afraid of a fight literally or figuratively.
The UFC impresario didn’t back down in his support for Donald Trump despite major backlash, and didn’t flinch when “woke” journalists criticized him for organizing fights during COVID-19.
White successfully created a coronavirus-safe environment, much to the chagrin of the reporters who trashed him.
Now White is taking on cancel culture by coming to the defense of actress Gina Carano who was recently fired by Disney for espousing pro-Trump views and suggesting the 2020 election wasn’t entirely secure.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney had been looking for a reason to get rid of Carano as far back as November, and they finally pulled the trigger when she shared a post on Instagram calling out mobs going after people for their political opinions.
Carano posted:
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children.
Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
Carano’s benign statement was blasted as antisemitic, and she was summarily fired.
When White was asked about Carano’s ouster at a press conference, he fired back, “Leave her alone,” and called out one MMA reporter who had gone after White in the past.

The woke mob cheered Carano’s firing, but their glee was short-lived when she announced an upcoming movie deal with the conservative outlet The Daily Wire.
Carano announced:
“I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob. I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”
Carano showed the path forward for conservatives and Republicans; leftists cannot be shamed into reform, and they won’t stop pushing their ideology.
People on the right need to start building cultural institutions so the left doesn’t have a complete monopoly.
As Andrew Breitbart famously said, “Politics is downstream from culture,” so conservatives cannot afford to abandon that territory.
