Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have turned their exodus from the Royal Family into a neverending circus.
They have been taking shots at the family for years.
Now Harry made one mind-boggling statement about the Royal Family.
Harry and Meghan always seem able to kick up more drama regarding their public split from the Royal Family.
The two accused the family of racism in a bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
Recently, they produced a Netflix documentary taking shots at the family, and Harry is set to release a tell-all book called “Spare.”
Despite all of that, Harry shockingly claims he wants to reconcile with the family.
In an interview, Harry claimed, “They’ve shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile…I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back…They feel as though it’s better to keep us somehow as the villains.”
This is a mind-blowing statement considering Harry and Meghan were the ones airing dirty laundry and making scurrilous accusations against the family.
Granting interviews, producing Netflix series, and writing books condemning the family do not seem like actions taken by someone who’s eager to reconcile.
In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Harry said, “Every single time I’ve tried to do it privately, there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife. The family motto is ‘never complain, never explain’, but it’s just a motto, it doesn’t really hold…They [palace aides] will feed or have a conversation with the correspondent, and that correspondent will literally be spoon-fed information and write the story, and at the bottom of it, they will say they have reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment. But the whole story is Buckingham Palace commenting. So when we’re being told for the last six years: ‘We can’t put a statement out to protect you,’ but you do it for other members of the family, there becomes a point when silence is betrayal.”
Harry’s supposed plea to reconcile with the family could be a result of the public getting tired of the Sussex Royals’ antics.
Breitbart reported that “according to the reviews, Harry & Meghan is a weapons-grade stinker, generating a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 38% — with critics calling it a ‘royal pity party’ and a ‘hypocritical attention grab.’ Viewers appear to loathe it too, resulting in an even lower audience score of just 15%.”
A Recent YouGov survey showed that nearly half of respondents believe Harry should be stripped of his title as the Duke of Sussex.
It seems as though the gravy train for Harry and Meghan could be petering out.
In a scathing article, POLITICO wrote of the pair, “[S]omewhere between the fifth and sixth hour of ‘Harry and Meghan,’ the new Netflix documentary series produced by the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex and filmed at their California mansion — which suggests that there is no one more in love, no one more socially conscious, no one more aggrieved — my natural sympathy for the couple started turning to irritation, and it occurred to me that ego has its limits.”
Another journalist called the couple a “one-trick pony.”
The challenge for Harry and Meghan will be to create something of value without attacking the Royal Family’s name to it.
