Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to cause a stir.
They have been a pain in the neck for the Royal Family amid their chase for celebrity.
Now Harry and Meghan visited the queen for one eye-rolling reason.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are desperate to be entertainment moguls.
Being global icons as members of the Royal Family apparently was not enough.
And the Sussex Royals supposedly visited Queen Elizabeth II to smooth things over in order to make Netflix producers happy.
From The Daily Mail:
“Harry and Meghan have been accused of ‘exploiting the Queen for Netflix’ and making their top-secret trip for ‘clear the air talks’ with the elderly monarch and Prince Charles at Windsor to please American producers of their upcoming documentary. A royal expert has claimed that the duke and duchess, who have not been in the UK together since they acrimoniously quit as senior working royals more than two years ago, made the secret visit ‘all for their Netflix documentary’…Meghan’s acid-penned biographer Tom Bower sensationally branded the Sussexes ‘the Royal Family’s worst traducers’ and accused the couple of ‘exploiting an old, unwell woman to boost their credibility and coffers.’”
Harry and Meghan waged war on the Royal Family when they sat for an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During the interview, the couple accused the family of racism and ignoring Meghan’s supposed mental health challenges.
The fallout from the scurrilous interview cost Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne their jobs.
Morgan quit his role as the lead host of Good Morning Britain amid ridiculous accusations of racism, and Osbourne was fired from The Talk for defending her friend Morgan against the slanderous attacks.
Daily Mail continued:
“Meanwhile, royal correspondent Robert Jobson said that it was ‘significant’ that William and Kate were not involved in the meeting. The brothers’ relationship has been at rock bottom since Harry pressed the nuclear button on his royal life. Netflix is expected to send a camera crew to follow Harry and Meghan when they meet the Ukraine team at the Invictus Games for injured military veterans in The Netherlands for their documentary about the Paralympic-style games. But critics have accused the royal couple of ‘cashing in’ on the Games by allowing Netflix, with whom they have signed a $100million deal, into private meetings. And royal experts believe the VVIP status given to the couple will allow Netflix to portray the couple in a favourable light, as they deal with the fallout from their bombshell interview with Oprah last year.”
Markle, a former actress, reportedly still craves the Hollywood spotlight.
But their foray into being entertainment moguls has not borne any fruit.
Some speculate that Netflix and Spotify are getting impatient.
The Daily Beast reported that “Netflix and Spotify have both independently advertised for staff to help make shows being produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple has so far delivered just 35 minutes of content to Spotify and nothing to Netflix, despite signing deals reportedly worth in excess of $120 million with the two companies almost 16 months ago.”
All of the drama they have caused, and they have only eked out 35 minutes of content.
