Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have created major scandals within the Royal Family.
The couple has been airing dirty laundry in order to secure Hollywood deals.
Now Harry and Meghan were told to keep away from one huge event.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been using their profile as the Sussex Royals to line their pockets with exclusive podcast and television deals.
And while they profiteer off their status, they have distanced themselves from the Royal Family they have criticized.
For example, Harry and Meghan accused the Royal Family of racism in a jaw-dropping interview with Oprah Winfrey.
However, the two had the gall to show up to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral and soak up the media attention.
But Harry and Meghan have been told to stay away from Prince Charles’s coronation as King of England.
“Members of the British political and military establishment lined up Sunday to tell Harry and Meghan not to show their tear-stained faces at the Coronation of King Charles III next year. The warnings come in the wake of the couple’s self-regarding Netflix series this past week which sprayed criticism at the Royal Family, the media, politicians, and commentators alike…[T]he reception for the production has been so negative a Member of Parliament (MP) for Britain’s governing Conservative Party plans to advance a bill that will allow Parliament to strip Prince Harry and wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, of their titles.”
Among the people featured in the scathing Netflix series was a professor who claimed that Queen Elizabeth “wanted to be a figurehead for white supremacy.”
More and more people are pointing out that Harry and Meghan should stay away from the Royal Family if they hate it so much.
Former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith called out their hypocrisy, explaining, “If they dislike the Royal Family so much why would they attend the Coronation?”
Former Tory politician David Mellor said, “They shouldn’t come to the Coronation. They categorically shouldn’t come. They make money out of selling their family down the river. I think it should be made clear that the British people do not want them there…[Brittons] would be perfectly entitled to boo if the couple did turn up…They are a sad pair and there is no hope for them on their current course.”
Harry and Meghan seem to want it both ways.
They want the money and status of being affiliated with the Royal Family, but they also want to bash the Royal Family and disassociate from it.
Historian and author Lady Antonia Fraser added, “I hope they don’t come because I want the King and Queen to be the center of attention. It worries me that if they come the cameras might waste time on them. They should stay holding hands in Hollywood.”
Harry and Meghan have worn out their welcome, but they still need the Royal Family to sell themselves to Hollywood as members within the family.
