Washington, D.C. has become a cesspool of Hollywood celebrities begging to be arrested on Fridays due to the “Fire Drill Friday” initiative.
Actress Jane Fonda started this new breeding ground for liberal propaganda when she asked Netflix for a hiatus from her hit show so she could get arrested weekly in protest of President Trump administration’s position on climate change, while also admitting she drew inspiration from 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.
Many celebrities have been arrested alongside Jane Fonda in Washington, D.C. but now you can add this Oscar winning actress to the list.
Two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda is one of the most tone-deaf hypocritical liberal activists America has to offer.
First of all, Ms. Fonda famously earned the nickname “Hanoi Jane” while protesting in Vietnam, Fonda appeared on 10 radio programs to speak out against the U.S. military’s policy in Vietnam and also to beg pilots to cease bombing non-military targets.
But things took a dramatic turn when she was photographed seated on an anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi, making it look like she would shoot down American planes if it came to that.
This sparked massive outrage and to make matters even worse, and hypocritical, Jane’s father actor Henry Fonda, was a decorated World War II Naval Officer.
Jane’s made the rounds since this newfound attention praising her activism and even obnoxiously claimed a couple months ago that she was a climate scientist even though she doesn’t have the degree credentials.
Fonda said, “I’ve been a climate scientist for decades and decades, but it was Greta Thunberg, this little Swedish girl holding her sign every Friday in front of the Swedish Parliament. And all the student strikers all over the world who have really risked a lot and given up a lot in order to say, ‘Wake up old people. How come you’re not standing with us? You’ve taken our future away!’” She attended Vassar College for physiology but never received her Bachelor’s degree.
Many stars have been arrested alongside Jane in D.C. so far that includes “Cheers” star Ted Danson, her “Grace and Frankie” co-star Sam Waterston, Catherine Keener, Rosanna Arquette, June Diane Raphael, Piper Perabo and Diane Lane.
And now you can add two-time Oscar winning actress Sally Field for “Places in the Heart” and “Norma Rae” to that list.
The 73-year-old pleaded to the crowd outside of the U.S. Capitol building last Friday, “I come with my heart and my voice. I am a mother. I am a grandmother. The time is now!”
She also added, “We cannot sit back in our comfort zones on our couches, and wonder, ‘What can we do?’ We can get out. We can do something in the rain, whatever it takes. I’ve been learning. I have been trying to learn. I, like everyone else, feel this is such a big problem. How can we ever accomplish anything? But we can!”
People like Field and Fonda keep bemoaning that we can no longer stand idly by but some of us are doing just that and getting along just fine without the liberal propaganda machine trying to instill world-ending fear into everybody.
A few minutes after another Oscar-worthy performance, Field was caught on camera being escorted out of the crowd, throwing her bound hands in the air proudly, off to jail.
Which celebrity will be next to join this long list?
