Democrats and their media allies are demonizing the police nonstop.
The result has been many communities in more danger.
But one rapper said something about the police that left Democrats hopping mad.
The Democrats’ war on cops has once again escalated.
In light of the accidental shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, riots have again roiled the nation.
The damage of the 2020 riots is still being felt, and the terror is starting all over again.
Democrats are rekindling the destructive “defund the police” rhetoric that nearly cost them their House majority in 2020.
But one leftist unexpectedly bucked the trend and said defunding the police would be a bad idea: Cardi B.
The female rapper known for her vulgarity and drugging and robbing men when she performed as a stripper tweeted that “We need cops.”

Even though a 2020 poll showed that 80% of black respondents want the same level or more police engagement in their communities, saying “we need cops” is verboten and somehow considered racist among many within the establishment.
That’s why Cardi B promptly deleted the tweet.
She has no problem reciting some of the most debased lyrics imaginable and spreading slander about conservatives like Candace Owens, but raising skepticism about defunding the police is a bridge too far.
For some absurd reason, Cardi B was elevated as a thought leader during the 2020 campaign.
She interviewed Joe Biden twice while Fox News had to pull teeth to get him to sit for a softball interview with Chris Wallace.
Democrats prop up entertainers like Cardi B as political pundits, then quickly corral them if they go off message.
Cardi B once posted a video on social media about how much she hated high taxes and wanted to know where her tax dollars were going; she asked for “receipts.”
Bernie Sanders and other leftists had to explain to her that she was on the Left, and therefore she wasn’t supposed to ask such questions.
She isn’t the first entertainer to make this mistake.
“Will & Grace” star Debra Messing crowed about a Donald Trump proposal to raise taxes on the One Percent.
Leftists Twitter quickly reined her in.
The reality is that the corporate press has exaggerated police killings to an absurd degree.
The police initiate approximately 29 million interactions with people, and roughly 1,000 result in police committing homicide, and the overwhelming majority are deemed justifiable.
The chances of a police officer killing an unarmed black man (or any demographic) are astronomically low.
But nobody would know that by watching the so-called mainstream media.
