The NFL’s anti-American protests have gotten completely out of hand.
Fans are sick of the disrespectful acts and bailing on the league altogether.
But one photograph revealed an anthem protester attacking America on foreign soil.
In a game played in Mexico City, Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat for the Star-Spangled Banner, but stood for the Mexican national anthem.
From Breitbart:
The Raiders and the Patriots traveled to play a game in Mexico City during Week 11 of the NFL season. And it appears, at least in one case, they brought their politics with them.
Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch has not stood for the U.S. national anthem at all this year, and he continued that practice in Mexico City on Sunday. However, when it was time for the Mexican anthem to be played, suddenly Lynch felt inspired to stand:

The protest from Lynch, appeared to be the only protest from either team during the anthem. The anthem protests gained notoriety last season, after 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began sitting, then kneeling during the anthem. After walking away from his contract in San Francisco, Kaepernick has not signed with another team. Kaepernick believes the league has colluded to keep him out of the NFL, and has filed a grievance. The NFL and the Mexican Ministry of Tourism also announced on Sunday that the league will play a game in Mexico’s Azteca Stadium every year from 2019-21.
On Sunday the Raiders and Patriots played the second game, of a three game deal which was set to expire after next season.
Jacksonville Jaguars players did the same thing in a game played in London.
Lynch’s act is particularly despicable because he’s sat during the anthem for ages, but made a point of standing for the Mexican anthem.
If the protests aren’t supposed to be a show of disrespect toward America, why did Lynch feel the need to stand up for Mexico?
Perhaps Lynch has no qualms with Mexico’s police violence or governance as a whole.
It’s mind-boggling how NFL players who have gotten rich and famous because of the American system have such contempt for their country.
People from all over the world risk everything to come here and experience freedom for the first time, yet pampered American athletes can’t be bothered to stand up for one minute.
Fittingly, Lynch and the Raiders were soundly defeated 33-8 by the Patriots.
