Obama is constantly undermining Trump.
During President Trump’s first overseas trip, the former president selfishly spoke in Germany alongside Angela Merkel about his legacy.
He spoke with total disregard of Trump’s actions, and Obama’s latest action has reached all new heights, which suggests that his Deep State is just getting started.
Former presidents are supposed to stay out of the current administration’s policies.
President George H.W. Bush stayed out of Bill Clinton’s, Clinton stayed out of George W. Bush’s, and Bush stayed out of Barack Obama’s.
But Obama isn’t staying out of Trump’s.
Obama gave a speech in Indonesia where he took swipes at President Trump, sounding the alarm about an “aggressive kind of nationalism.”
He also said there was a “temporary absence of American leadership”, referencing Trump pulling out of the Paris climate accord.
And Obama just attended the Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul – where he’s actually dictating policy and undermining the Trump’s administration in dealing with North Korea.
Breitbart reports:
“Former President Barack Obama is traveling abroad with his wife and daughters, but the family isn’t exactly vacationing.
On Monday, Obama spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul and met with President Moon Jae-in — just days after the leader met with President Donald Trump at the White House.
‘President Moon Jae-in renewed his resolve to pursue sanctions and dialogue to tackle North Korea’s nuclear program during a meeting with former U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday, saying now is the ‘last chance’ for the regime to return to the negotiating table,’ the Korea Herald reported.
‘During the 40-minute talk, Moon shared the results of his recent summit with his incumbent U.S. counterpart Donald Trump, asking for Obama’s advice on ways to advance the relationship,’ the Korea Herald reported.
‘President Trump and I agreed to continue to apply sanctions and pressure to resolve the North’s nuclear and missile issues, while pursuing dialogue in parallel,’ Moon said, according to his press secretary Yoon Young-chan.
Trump has slammed Obama’s foreign policy stance on North Korea’s military aggression, saying the era of “strategic patience” with the Communist regime is over.
Trump also said the U.S. and South Korea have a ‘very, very strong and solid plan’ to deal with North Korea.
At the conference, where Obama met with his ‘old friend,’ former President Lee Myung-bak, the former president took a jab at Trump over his decision to remove the U.S. from the Paris climate change agreement and expressed his belief in an ‘international order.’
‘In Paris, we came together around the most ambitious agreement in history to fight climate change — an agreement that, even with the temporary absence of American leadership, will still give our children a fighting chance,’ Obama said.
‘Democracy is hard,’ Obama said. ‘Progress does not move in a straight line. Its gains are often fragile.’
‘But the future does not favor the strongman,’ Obama said.
‘I believe deeply that the liberal international order; order based not just on military power or national affiliations, but on principles — the rule of law, human rights and individual freedoms — is the only choice.’”
And all of this came just a day before July 4th when North Korea successfully tested and ICBM long-range missile.
But the Trump administration and South Korea worked together to figure out a solution on America’s 241st birthday.
The U.S. can no longer rely on China to solve the aggressive dictatorship of Kim Jong Un as we have done in the past.
President Trump tweeted:
Trade between China and North Korea grew almost 40% in the first quarter. So much for China working with us – but we had to give it a try!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 5, 2017
It was the Obama administration that sat on its hands while North Korea worked to obtain and develop a nuclear arsenal that is a threat to the United States – and now President Trump needs to solve it. Obama needs to stay out of foreign policy because this happened under his watch.
