The NFL has become highly politicized over the past few years.
The anti-American anthem protests started by Colin Kaepernick have only gotten worse.
Now NFL announcers got caught on a hot mic slamming one military tradition.
The NFL has decided to fully embrace “wokeness,” and their business is suffering.
Viewership is down across the board.
After Colin Kaepernick’s anti-American protest, the league hemorrhaged fans for years, but gradually won back popularity last year in a largely protest-free season.
But the pivot toward woke politics has again chased off fans, and FOX broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman didn’t help matters when they mocked military flyovers on a hot mic.

The goal of the radical left is to undermine all of America’s institutions and tear at the fabric that holds the country together.
That’s why they protest the flag, the national anthem, and even Mount Rushmore.
When Buck and Aikman mock flyovers, they’re doing the work of the leftists who want to see America dismantled in the name of “social justice.”
Aikman responded to the backlash by denying he was criticizing military flyovers.
“I love a flyover but It was odd to see one over a mostly empty stadium…But I am an unwavering patriot that loves this country, has always respected our flag, supported the men and women in the armed forces as well as those in uniform who serve & protect and for anyone to suggest otherwise doesn’t know me, my beliefs or what I have stood for my entire life.”
That’s a strong statement from Aikman, but there were still fans in the seats.
If the NFL and the country want to return to normalcy, attacking symbols of unity is unlikely to help.
Aikman’s statement about a Biden-Harris administration was also odd.
If he’s mocking the Democrats for being the party of fiscal responsibility, his point is noted.
The idea of the Democrats tightening the purse strings is too laughable to comprehend.
Or Aikman could be making the point that Biden and Harris have no time for military fanfare.
Whatever Aikman’s point was, the entire episode was bizarre.
Meanwhile, Kaepernick has advanced in his quest to destroy the country.
The NFL needs to avoid politics in the worst possible way.
They can’t afford to see their ratings crater any further.
