LeBron James and his “woke” politics run the NBA.
He sets the tone for all of the protests and ill-informed rhetoric.
But one NBA player who called out James just received a stunning threat.
Back in 2015, LeBron James was not a political animal.
During an interview, he admitted that he’d never had any negative interactions with the police and he would tell his son to comply with officers if ever pulled over.
But after Colin Kaepernick became a far-left revolutionary in 2016, James quickly changed his tune.
Suddenly he was campaigning with Hillary Clinton and leading the anti-police crusade.
However, James has said nothing about the human rights abuses committed by the Chinese Communist Party because the NBA and Nike are beholden to China.
But that didn’t stop Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter from speaking out against the CCP and calling out James by name.
Now Kanter is saying that he’s been quietly threatened for his hardline stance against the CCP.
From Breitbart:
“Boston Celtics center and towering human rights advocate Enes Kanter has revealed that NBA representatives tried to get him to stop wearing shoes with messages that were critical of China, and even suggested that he could be banned from the league. Kanter, who was born in oppressed Turkey, has engaged in a series of videos recently calling for China to stop oppressing the people of Tibet and for the communist giant to put an end to its forced labor camps in which the country’s Uyghur minorities are constantly shipped to serve as slave labor in China’s factories.”
Kanter is not afraid to speak his mind.
He criticized Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan even though his family was still in the country.
Kanter has since been in the process of getting them out of Turkey.
Breitbart added:
“Now he says that NBA officials are attacking him in quiet warnings delivered out of the public eye. During a recent interview with CNN, Kanter revealed that the NBA was attempting to scare him into putting an end to his focus on the league’s multibillion-dollar business partner, China. Kanter says that league officials told him he could be banned for criticizing China and wearing anti-China shoes.”
.@EnesKanter says that he doesn’t care about the cost that he may face from criticizing China. But are the NBA concerned? Kanter told me he has discussed it with commissioner Adam Silver. “I told him… am I breaking any rules?”

Kanter has also seen his minutes with the Celtics conspicuously cut.
The CCP banned Celtics games from playing in mainland China because of Kanter’s actions and words, but he remains determined to speak out against atrocities committed by the CCP.
