Dr. Anthony Fauci is leading the COVID regime that’s extinguishing freedoms.
Not even multimillionaire professional athletes are exempt.
And an NBA player standing up to Dr. Fauci just made one stunning announcement.
The NBA is not mandating that its players get the COVID vaccine, but local municipalities have enacted rules that bar people from entering arenas without showing proof of vaccination.
That local edict has caused players in the Bay Area and New York City to be in jeopardy of missing all of their teams’ home games.
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Andrew Wiggins was put in that exact predicament.
Wiggins vied for a religious exemption, but he was denied.
And Warriors head coach Steve Kerr divulged that Wiggins acquiesced and took the vaccine in order to play in all of his team’s games.
From Fox News:
“Golden State Warriors guard Andrew Wiggins received the COVID-19 vaccine after the NBA denied him a religious exemption and he batted away reporters’ questions about it during media day…Wiggins’ media day was a bit contentious as he was getting peppered with questions about his vaccination status.”
Wiggins was clearly upset with being strong-armed into taking a vaccine that someone in his age bracket and fitness level does not need.
Wiggins said during a media session:
“I’m just going to keep all that private right now…Anything that has to do with my status, vaccination, I’m going to keep it personal, private…Back is definitely against the wall. I’m gonna keep fighting for what I believe. What’s right to one person isn’t right to the other and vice versa.”
Under the COVID regime, personal health choices are no longer allowed to remain personal.
COVID hysterics feel completely justified in asking inappropriate medical questions.
“Some people shed their beliefs onto their children. Some people let their children grow up and believe what they want to believe. Who are you guys that I have to explain what I believe, or you know, what’s right or what’s wrong in my mind? We are two totally different people. What you think is not what I think. What I think is not what you think…I’ll say something when I’m ready. The only thing the media has done is make it bigger than it has to be. I’ll say my side of everything when I’m ready.”
The vaccine was supposed to represent a return to normalcy, but the authoritarianism and propaganda have only gotten worse.
Some celebrities have spoken out against the tyrannical COVID regime, but they have largely been denounced or ignored.
NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul Jabbar, a rabid leftist, suggested all unvaccinated players should be booted from the league.
America is experiencing the totalitarian mindset in full effect with Democrats and the public health officials who want to extend their 15 minutes in the spotlight.
Sadly, the COVID regime shows no signs of slowing down.
