Somehow liberals and Democrats in Congress are infuriated with President Trump taking out one of the world’s biggest terrorists last week, Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s secretive Quds Force.
Congress said Trump needed their permission for “acts of war” but it wasn’t an act of war, it was a drone strike, which doesn’t fall under the same category in the U.S. Constitution. And liberals are demonizing instead of praising Trump for giving the order to kill this cruel evil terrorist.
Now one NBA Coach is facing backlash after accusing Vice President Mike Pence of lying about this particular detail involving the Iran controversy and the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
There is one NBA head coach who has zero problem discussing politics to the media and is eager to do so when vilifying President Trump and his administration: San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
But when it comes to America’s biggest hypocrites there is no question that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is right near the very top of that list.
Like Popovich, Steve Kerr is the other “woke” coach of the NBA who has no problem skipping the White House when his team won back-to-back championships in Trump’s first two years in office. He comments on everything to gun control and reforming the 2nd Amendment to the controversy at the southern border with illegal immigration.
What makes him a hypocrite, however, was how he declined to comment on the China controversy after the country pulled NBA preseason games and threatened the league to pull all basketball from the airwaves if they didn’t recant their position involving support for the Hong Kong protesters.
In October he said, “A lot of us don’t know what to make of it, it’s something I’m reading about… but I’m not going to comment. What I’ve found is that it’s easy to speak on issues that I’m passionate about and that I feel like I’m well-versed on, and I’ve found that it makes the most sense to stick to topics that fall in that category.”
Where was his big mouth then?
Following the Iranian airstrike against Gen. Soleimani, Vice President Pence defended Trump’s actions by saying Soleimani, “assisted in the clandestine travel to Afghanistan of 10 of the 12 terrorists who carried out the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.”
Many liberal outlets pointed out that Pence was wrong even though he wasn’t.
Of course, the blue checkmark brigade backed up these factually inaccurate liberal institutions and one of them was Kerr who wrote, “One thing I’ve learned in my lifetime is to not believe our government when it comes to matters of war. Johnson and Nixon lied about Viet Nam [sic]. Bush and Cheney lied about WMD’s in Iraq. Now Pence is lying about Iran/Soleimani’s supposed involvement in 9/11.”
But Pence spokeswoman Katie Waldman claimed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), under Soleimani’s leadership, knowingly allowed 12 of the 9/11 hijackers to transit to Afghanistan.
For those asking: 12 of the 19 transited through Afghanistan. 10 of those 12 were assisted by Soleimani. https://t.co/KSUI2kXmfX

The State Department added, “In 2016, the U.S. Treasury Department identified and sanctioned three senior AQ [Al Qaeda] operatives residing in Iran and noted that Iran had knowingly permitted these AQ members, including several of the 9/11 hijackers, to transit its territory on their way to Afghanistan for training and operational planning.”
Those are the actual facts and not some liberal propaganda news sites in which their journalists clearly suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Fox News contributor Guy Benson responded to Kerr, “How’s your research on Chinese authoritarianism going? Any update to your comments?
Washington Examiner Becket Adams replied, “Oh hey look who has rediscovered he has strong opinions about geopolitical issues.”
There’s only one word that describes Kerr, “hypocrite.”
