Leftists love to proclaim themselves tolerant and empathic while bashing conservatives.
But conservatives know that leftists are the true bigots because they categorize everyone by their group identity.
Now one MSNBC host finds herself in hot water after her liberal hypocrisy was exposed for all to see.
Joy Reid of MSNBC’s “AM Joy” is in trouble after old tweets and blog posts revealed numerous anti-gay sentiments. Reid initially apologized for the posts a few months ago, but the controversy was reignited when more incendiary posts were discovered.
Instead of owning up to the posts, Reid made the monstrous error of claiming she was hacked, which was quickly and thoroughly debunked.
From The Daily Wire:
A non-profit internet library that archives web pages has rejected MSNBC host Joy Reid’s claims that someone hacked her website, went back in time, and fabricated her blog posts.
Reid has been in the national spotlight this week after multiple new blog posts from her now-defunct website were found on a web archive site that showed homophobic and bigoted writings coming from her.
“When we reviewed the archives, we found nothing to indicate tampering or hacking of the Wayback Machine versions,” the Internet Archive said in a statement to BuzzFeed News on Tuesday. “At least some of the examples of allegedly fraudulent posts provided to us had been archived at different dates and by different entities.”
In a statement on Monday, Reid claimed that she learned in December that someone hacked her blog posts and fabricated them:
In December I learned that an unknown, external party accessed and manipulated material from my now-defunct blog, The Reid Report, to include offensive and hateful references that are fabricated and run counter to my personal beliefs and ideology.
Reid’s statement claiming that she had been hacked by bad actors contradicts an apology that she issued in late December apologizing for writing multiple bigoted and homophobic posts.
Glenn Greenwald, a journalist at The Intercept, noted NBC’s response to the allegations in a tweet early on Tuesday, saying what the network is counting on is that “no liberal outlets or journalists will be willing to even mention any of this happened, so they won’t have to ever account for it. They’re counting on a lack of integrity to overlook bigotry & possible lying from their own side.”

NBC is now sending around an undated, extremely vague “report” from what it says is Joy Reid’s “security expert” – someone named Jonathan Nichols. Looks like it was written today in response to the controversy. Just for yourself if any evidence is here & if it’s convincing:
The story gets murkier for Reid, as it’s been discovered the crackpot cyber-security expert she commissioned has online affiliations with neo-Nazis.
More from The Daily Wire:
Jonathan Nichols, the man Reid hired, was tasked with proving that Reid did not write numerous homophobic and bigoted blog posts on her now-defunct blog. However, investigative reporters at Mediaite, the outlet that first revealed Reid’s posts, discovered today that Nichols bragged about his affiliations with neo-Nazis before locking down his social media accounts.
Mediaite reports:
After NBC released a its statement regarding his work for Reid, however, Nichols deleted all of his account’s old posts, went on a tweetstorm declaring a “lock down” of his account, and then placed it on protected mode so non-followers could not see his tweets.
Using the Internet archiving services Archive.is and the Wayback Machine, Mediaite discovered a series of Nichols’ old tweets in which he brags about knowing the infamous neo-Nazi troll Andrew Auernheimer, who is more commonly known by his hacker name weev.
“Like are most of you aware that I NOT ONLY know Andrew (stromfront admin), but I was the principal element livetweeting his release from [prison],” tweeted Nichols on December 9, 2017, according to online records obtained by Mediaite. “If you try REALLY HARD you’ll see that I’m connected to the leadership of [Stormfront]. If you try just a bit harder you’ll figure it out.”
As Mediaite notes, “It is worth noting that weev is not an administrator for Stormfront, but is instead the webmaster for The Daily Stormer — the biggest Nazi site in America.”
Nichols also bragged about hanging out with weev, writing that he attended “Weev’s coming home party” after he was released from prison.
Like Reid, Nichols is a conspiracy theorist, who, according to Mediaite, believed in left-wing politics and bought into conspiracies that the 2016 presidential election was “literally rigged FOR [Trump].”
WikiLeaks, which is not always a reliable resource, chimed in on the issue, too, noting on Twitter that on Nichols’ LinkedIn account, he “lists his first background expertise as ‘military propaganda.'”

‘Independent expert’ used by @JoyAnnReid, the MSNBC host, to claim that she had been hacked eight years ago to plant comments critical of gays, including current MSNBC top host Rachel Maddow? Lists his first background expertise as ‘military propaganda’.
The old rule of politics is the cover-up is worse than the crime. If Reid had simply owned up to her posts, she likely would’ve weathered the storm.
But the left is so hellbent on prosecuting thought crimes, even from over a decade ago, Reid felt the need to dig herself a deeper hole from which she might not escape.
