Filmmaker Michael Moore is a known leftist loon.
He’s made many films and statements attacking capitalism.
Now Moore made a new comment about the Pope that’s truly shocking.
Michael Moore began his career with the documentary “Roger & Me.”
The film, which was deceptively edited, criticized GM CEO Roger Smith.
The film griped that Smith pulled a car factory from Moore’s hometown of Flint, Michigan.
The move had devastating effects on the town.
But now Moore is shilling for the globalist policies that sends factories to other countries.
His movies do nothing but rip Republicans and conservatives.
“Bowling For Columbine” pushed for gun control.
“Fahrenheit: 9/11” suggested George W. Bush started the Iraq War for oil.
“Sicko” extolled the greatness of Cuba’s socialized medicine.
Never mind that Cubans who aren’t part of the favored class go to hospitals in abject conditions.
Patients must bring their own pillows and potable water.
His latest film “Fahrenheit: 11/9” was a lazy blitz against Donald Trump.
It died a miserable death at the box office.
Even people on the left are tired of Moore’s act.
Meeting with the Pope
Moore recently roped in someone else to help push his leftist worldview.
Pope Francis is considered a rock star by the left.
Many have noted the Pope’s bias toward left-wing causes like fighting climate change.
Recently, another sex scandal hit the Catholic Church.
Leftists are typically quick to attack the church.
Hollywood even awarded the Best Picture Oscar to the film “Spotlight.”
But the latest scandal alleged Pope Francis had knowledge, so the leftist media ran interference.
They called it a right-wing coup.
It’s said Pope Francis is a believer in liberation theology, which blends Christianity with Marxism.
So it’s no surprise he and Moore had plenty in common.
Moore recounted his meeting with the Pope.
Moore said that he asked, “So you believe capitalism, the kind of capitalism we have now, is a sin?”
Moore said the Pope responded, “Yes, it is…The poor must always come first.”
Christians believe in charity toward the poor.
It is important to help the poor.
But that doesn’t equate to proposing an immoral economic system like socialism that stampedes freedom in the name of helping the poor.
Moore claims to have concern for the downtrodden.
But he openly advocates for socialism.
He honored Karl Marx on his birthday and said his predictions were all correct.
That’s not only factually wrong, it’s terrifying.
The countries that implemented socialism witnessed unspeakable poverty and inequality.
And then there were the murders.
Communists killed over 100 million people in peacetime.
But Moore aims all of his ire at capitalism.
Apparently he couldn’t spare any of his multi-millions to keep it afloat.
Moore is the stereotypical champagne socialist.
He dresses like a hobo to pretend he’s a man of the people.
But he’s worth an estimated $50 million and owns nine homes.
