Michael Moore is a trite Hollywood elitist.
It seems like he just says things that are blatantly false and ridiculous just to experience the limelight. He loves the headlines.
And Moore’s latest prediction that this A-list actor would defeat President Trump in 2020 might be the most absurd thing he’s ever said.
Michael Moore won an Academy Award for Best Documentary feature for Bowling For Columbine, which was about gun violence in America.
And then he made Fahrenheit 9/11.
To this day, it’s the highest grossing documentary of all time.
But then his career took a nosedive.
Moore’s most recent film about President Trump, Fahrenheit 11/9, was a complete dud and box office disaster.
Moore’s most recent film about President Trump, Fahrenheit 11/9, was a complete dud
Now he just says things that are preposterous by nature.
Moore believes that “beloved Americans” such as actor Tom Hanks or even former First Lady Michelle Obama would defeat Trump in 2020.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan show, Moore said, “Democrats need to run a beloved American, someone people want to vote for. I’ve said for years that Oprah should run. I’ve asked Tom Hanks twice to run.”
Tom Hanks would probably never do that.
The A-list actor is considered “America’s Dad” but he probably has no desire to actually run.
Anytime he’s discussed that was just in jest.
When Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live a couple of years ago, he and Hanks joked about a President and Vice President duo of both of them for 2020.
Although, Johnson speaks candidly about running for president during every press junket for his upcoming movie, it looks like it’s just a scheme to make headlines.
Liberals love it because they hate President Trump so much.
Moore even said, “Who doesn’t like Tom Hanks? Nobody, right? Tom Hanks would win. I said you’re the only one that can save us. Maybe Michelle Obama, everyone loves Michelle Obama.”
Tom Hanks is absolutely a beloved person.
But that doesn’t mean he’s qualified to run the United States of America.
His likable persona has nothing to do with whether he’d be good at it or not.
Look at former President Jimmy Carter.
He’s in his 90’s and still donates his time to Habitat for Humanity building houses for less fortunate families.
Carter seems like a good person to donate his time like that.
Unfortunately, Jimmy Carter failed miserably as our president.
Those two things; being a good person and being great as our commander-in-chief aren’t mutually exclusive.
The Democrats are desperate.
Do you remember when Oprah gave her speech at the Golden Globe Awards a couple years ago?
Oprah won the Cecille B. Demille Lifetime Achievement award and alluded to many things about President Trump
It was hailed as one of the great speeches and liberals obsessed over whether she would consider running for president.
Last year, Moore said on The View, “If we ran Al Franken, run Tom Hanks… Who wouldn’t vote for Tom Hanks for President of the United States? Come on. Oprah!”
That’s how pathetic the Democratic Party is right now.
They’re even touting Senatorial hopeful Beto O’Rourke as one of the leading Democrats to challenge Trump.
He hasn’t defeated Sen. Ted Cruz yet and that’s where their heads are at.
Moore loves to bloviate about things.
He also said once, “The honest answer to that is I don’t even know if we’re going to get to 2020 as a democracy. I don’t know.”
This is just absurd liberal hysteria and it’s amazing that some actually buy into it.
