Megyn Kelly is under fire again.
The former Fox News host left the network and it’s clear Kelly’s struggling to stay relevant because her supporters didn’t follow her to NBC.
Now she faces major backlash because of her most recent interview.
Megyn Kelly was once a bright and shining star of the Fox News network, but that all deteriorated when she accused Roger Ailes of sexual harassment.
Kelly was practically forced to leave Fox News for NBC, where her new show Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly premiered to underwhelming viewership numbers.
Her premiere episode featured an exclusive interview with Vladimir Putin and it was beat out by a rerun of 60 Minutes in the ratings.
That means one of two things – either her fans don’t care about her anymore or nobody cares about this supposed Trump-Russia conspiracy. It could possibly be both.
And her latest interview proves she’s desperate to stay relevant.
Breitbart reports:
Megyn Kelly has come under fire for a planned Father’s Day interview with InfoWars founder Alex Jones on her new Sunday night NBC News program, with social media users calling for a boycott of the program’s advertisers and urging others to tune out the show when it airs later this month.
Kelly shared a preview clip of the interview with Jones on her Twitter account Sunday.
In the clip, Jones defends against being called /the most paranoid man in the world,’ calls the September 11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. an ‘inside job,’ and attempts to deflect criticism for his assertion that the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax.
In response to the preview, several Twitter users identifying themselves as family members of the 27 victims of the horrific attack tweeted directly to the Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly host to express their outrage that the anchor and NBC would give Jones a platform to discuss his views.
Here are some responses to the interview.
This piece of actual garbage encourages people to call my mom’s death a hoax and harass other Sandy Hook families. Shame on you @megynkelly. https://t.co/uGmhqQAEeR

When I was growing up,NBC News was my favorite TV news show. If this vile interview airs, I’ll NEVER watch it again. https://t.co/66MEmotURo

Imagine you’re a Sandy Hook parent. This “man” has claimed your child’s death was faked. And now he’s being broadcast to millions. Shameful. https://t.co/wZSybmKbFy

Alex Jones’ conspiracy theories have been met with understandable backlash because his bogus concoctions devalue the victims and their families.
And Megyn Kelly is no different than he is by perpetuating the garbage that spews from his mouth – she needs to exit television once and for all.
