Over the weekend, the Patriots blew out the Raiders in Mexico City.
And Oakland star running back Marshawn Lynch had the gall to kneel during the American anthem, but stand for Mexico’s.
President Trump was swift to call him out on Twitter, and Lynch’s mother retaliated.
Lynch and the Oakland Raiders haven’t lived up to their expectations going into this 2017-2018 season.
Many NFL analysts had them as Super Bowl contenders.
That couldn’t have been further from the truth because the team’s record currently stands at 4-6.
Their latest loss comes after a blowout by the defending Super Bowl champs New England Patriots.
Lynch, like Colin Kaepernick, has always knelt during the anthem before games.
But he actually had the audacity to stand for Mexico’s national anthem.
You know—that same country with rampant drug crime and MS-13 gangs which have bled over into the United States.
Needless to say, Trump called him out on Twitter. And Lynch’s mother – as any mother would – defended his son and attacked Trump back.
Breitbart reports:
“If it seems like President Trump has spent a lot of time in Twitter fights with the parents of famous athletes, that’s because he has. While still engaged in a highly visible dispute with LaVar Ball, over just who should get the credit for springing Ball’s son from house arrest in China.
Trump took to Twitter and criticized Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch for sitting during the U.S. anthem but standing for the Mexican national anthem, prior to playing the Patriots in Mexico City.
Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.

what NFL team do Trump own ? oh yeah they wouldnt let him have one ,!! LMAO https://t.co/1rPa5jfMjE

Saying the NFL not let Trump “have” a team, is a reference to the president’s failed bid to purchase the Buffalo Bills in 2014.
Other prominent Oakland figures spoke out in support of Delisa Lynch. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf said, in reference to President Trump, “The bully-in-chief needs to worry about his own approval ratings and stop picking on people.”
According to the Washington Post, Linda Del Rio, wife of Raiders coach Jack Del Rio, tweeted that she regretted voting for Trump.
Though, that tweet has since been deleted. Perhaps no one should be all that surprised that the Lynch household would be at odds with 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. In September, Marshawn Lynch showed up to a game wearing a T-shirt that read: “Everybody vs. Trump.”
As for Delisa Lynch, she retweeted this gem several hours after trolling President Trump:
If you still support Trump then yes, you’re racist, sexist, condone his sexual misconduct & you’re a member of the most dangerous cult America’s ever seen. #TrumpCult

It seems like the NFL players—and now their families—are all tone-deaf.
But are we even surprised at this point?
