There is massive turmoil in former actress Lori Loughlin and clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli’s home.
Every week there are new updates, or “leaks,” in the college admissions scandal regarding both of them that proves it to be a turbulent atmosphere within the household.
And Lori Loughlin’s daughter just proved the apple doesn’t fall from the tree.
A nationwide FBI probe resulted in approximately 50 arrests; amongst the most famous included actress Felicity Huffman known for the recent Netflix documentary “When They See Us,” former “Full House” star Lori Loughlin and clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli who was famous for the Target clothing brand “Mossimo.”
Huffman admitted her guilt almost immediately and took the plea deal the prosecutors offered which resulted in a four-month sentence.
On the other hand, both Loughin and Giannulli both rejected the federal prosecutors’ initial offer and then they slapped them with a money laundering charge on top of mail fraud.
They could face up to forty years in prison if the husband and wife are found guilty.
But since March, the whole family has been in the spotlight after news broke that Loughlin was one of the highest-profile names in the college admission scandal accused of bribing $500,000 in illegal bribes to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California.
Their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella, were allegedly estranged from Lori and Mossimo given the unwanted national attention the scandal brought to them.
A source close to the family said, “Olivia Jade is totally over it and won’t listen to anything her parents say now. She is in no way ready to forgive anything her parents have done. Lori doesn’t understand Olivia’s reaction. She seems to feel her act was selfless and misunderstood and she wants to prove she had all the best intentions and even that she was, in some way, duped into breaking the law.”
But maybe things have taken a hard U-turn.
Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli reacted to rumors circulating about her life by addressing the media specifically with a clear message of flipping the bird to them.
While it wasn’t exactly clear what the YouTuber was reacting to in an Instagram post on Sunday, she appeared to be taking a stab at gossip sites’ recent reporting on the fallout of the college admission scandal. In recent weeks, multiple stories have cited unnamed sources claiming to have the inside scoop on Olivia Jade’s relationship with her mother, whether or not she’ll return to USC, and what’s next in her career as an influencer.
Her sister Isabella commented, “Not over you and this. QUEEN.”
Recently, the USC sorority they were both members of decided to kick both of them out because they also didn’t want the controversy they both stirred.
A source told Us Weekly, “Olivia and Bella were both in Kappa Kappa Gamma and the sorority has since kicked them out and is trying to distance themselves from the situation as much as possible.”
Now, it seems like everything is hunky-dory, but these anonymous sources seem to be close to the family and are reporting on what they see. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody if the family is leaking these “gossip stories” to try and gain sympathy from the court of public opinion.
