The entertainment world exists in a left-wing echo chamber.
Almost no opposing views are allowed to penetrate.
But a liberal comic had four stunning words for an anti-Trump filmmaker.
Liberal comedian Bill Maher and propaganda filmmaker Michael Moore share a common affliction of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
And while both hate Donald Trump, Maher occasionally says reasonable things about politics.
For example, Maher has been critical of the left’s insane embrace of “wokeness.”
On a recent episode of his HBO show Real Time, Maher had on Moore to discuss the upcoming 2022 midterms.
Moore, a partisan leftist, was overly optimistic about the Democrats’ chances, and even Maher was getting annoyed with his over-the-top projections.
Moore said, “I honestly believe Bill, and you know, you and I are two well-known pessimists, I think, and I have never felt this optimistic…And I—and, you know, I was on your show here, what’s now six years ago when I said that Trump was going to win. And the audience booed me, and you stood up for me…You know, I’m from the Midwest. I think I had a pretty good sense of what was going to happen. I think the opposite is going to happen this time…I think that there is going to be such a landslide against the traitors, especially the 147 Republicans who just hours after the insurrection voted to not certify the elected President of the United States, Joe Biden.”
Maher’s left-leaning audience cheered, and Moore added, “I’m just excited…We’re going to get rid of these people that are trying to tear the country down. We’re going to get rid of them. I’m excited about it.”
Maher responded, “I see. You know, we have some Republicans watching this show. We are—we are for all Americans on this show.”
After Moore continued to ramble, Maher eventually told him to “shut the f*ck up.”

Moore’s optimism is not supported by polling data.
Based on the generic congressional ballot, Republicans are poised to reclaim the House, and they have a 50-50 shot at taking back the Senate.
It also doesn’t help Democrats that Joe Biden’s disapproval rating is 53%, and he’s overseen the worst inflationary crisis in 40 years and a botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Although Maher is a lifelong Democrat, he’s been frustrated with the far-left antics of the party.
In an interview with conserative commentator Ben Shapiro, Maher said, “I could see that Trump could actually win that election, easily…Especially if the Democrats keep doing the stuff they are doing to piss people off, like in schools, with all that kind of stuff…[W]hat pisses people off with Democrats is so much closer to home, it’s so much up close and personal.”
Democrats are attempting to convince people that Republicans are threats to the country when the left ignored or even supported months of deadly riots in 2020.
Democrats and their soft-on-crime policies have contributed to major spikes in violent crime across the country.
Moore hopes that the abortion issue and the threat of “MAGA terrorists” will be enough in the midterms, but there’s plenty o evidence to suggest that is wrong.
