Liberals are making their move for gun confiscation.
The tragic shooting in Parkland, where law enforcement failed obscenely on multiple levels, has emboldened the left to not-so-subtly call for a repeal of the second amendment.
One deluded actress did her part to assail gun rights on social media, but her moral preening quickly backfired.
Alyssa Milano has consistently worked in film and television for decades, beginning as a child actress.
As someone who grew up in a liberal Hollywood cocoon, Milano tilts hard left. She recently said the second amendment was outdated, and took to twitter to elicit anti-gun stories from around the world.
The backlash was immediate.
From The Daily Wire:
On Monday, actress Alyssa Milano, who six weeks ago posted on Twitter that the Second Amendment was obsolete, decided she had another brilliant idea on Monday, tweeting that she was collecting letters from children around the world about the virtues of not having guns available.

Do your children live in a country where gun violence is not something you have to worry about? I’m collecting letters to American children from kids around the world about a a gun-free life: Mail letter to: NoRA 23705 Vanowen St #349 West Hills, CA 91307
Gun rights supporters didn’t take long to respond:

@Alyssa_Milano Do we send the letters about how guns save lives to the same address?

@Alyssa_Milano Here’s someone from Italy telling us her thoughts on gun control. You would probably burn these letters, though.
Others also pointed out that London has a full gun ban, yet still surpassed New York City in its murder rate.
From The Times:
London overtook New York in murders for the first time in modern history in February as the capital endured a dramatic surge in knife crime.
Fifteen people were murdered in the capital, against 14 in New York. Both cities have almost exactly the same population.
London murders for March are also likely to exceed or equal New York’s. By late last night there had been 22 killings in the capital, according to the Metropolitan police, against 21 in the US city.
Eight Londoners were murdered between March 14 and March 20 alone and the total number of London murders, even excluding victims of terrorism, has risen by 38% since 2014.
Despite the lack of guns in the UK, murders, sexual assaults, knife attacks, and acid attacks are on the rise.
Most people understand that guns don’t kill people; people kill people. But most people aren’t pampered actresses who live in a liberal bubble protected by armed security.
