It’s September and that means we’re gearing up for Oscar season.
You can expect extreme liberal movies at year’s end. They would all die for that golden statue and the more extreme it is then the better chance they have to win it.
One of new upcoming Oscar contenders has an anti-American message. And Fox News’ Laura Ingraham destroyed it with two words.
First Man and A Star is Born are the main frontrunners for all the major awards this year.
A Star is Born is a remake of the classic Hollywood musical that stars Bradley Cooper (also Directed by) and Lady Gaga, which people have already donned her performance as “extraordinary.”
The other is First Man with Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy in the starring roles, which depicts the epic Apollo 11 mission. If you’re not familiar, that’s the time we first landed on the moon in 1969.
That means it’ll be patriotic, right? Not so fast. They refused to depict the astronauts plant the American Flag on the moon.
And that’s why Fox News’ Laura Ingraham called the movie out because it was “trashing patriotism.”
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham called it out because it was “trashing patriotism.”
On her Friday show, The Ingraham Angle, the Fox news star said, “It’s another way of trashing patriotism. It’s another way of moving beyond the nationalism, or nationalistic spirit of the moment.” https://offthewire.com/hollywood-is-ganging-up-on-laura-ingraham-for-one-ridiculous-reason/
Contributor, Raymond Arroyo piggybacked off her sentiment with, “My feeling is, you’re doing a biopic, stick to the facts. He planted an American flag. Plant an American flag.”
She’s right. These are the facts.
Why would they do it?
Unfortunately, the filmmakers thought it would be best to depict it as a human achievement and not an American one.
Ryan Gosling responded to the criticism, “I think this was widely regarded in the end as a human achievement. That’s how we chose it.”
It’s important to note that the movie star is Canadian.
Of course he would say that. Why wouldn’t he?
Who wouldn’t want to leech off of American feats like anybody who doesn’t live here?
Co-star Jason Clarke (Everest and Terminator: Genisys) dismissed the controversy with, “It’s just silly and naïve” to think they were anti-American with it.
Director Damien Chazelle (director of La La Land and Whiplash) said, “This film is about one of the most extraordinary accomplishments not only in American history, but in human history.”
Chazelle is French.
What kind of person thinks this way?
It’s so funny to see non-Americans attempt to take credit for our achievements.
Every country and its citizens actually believe they’re entitled to everything America-related because we’re the greatest country in the world.
Every country and its citizens actually believe they’re entitled to everything America-related
But do any of you think you’re entitled to any other country? You probably don’t.
This is the liberal fantasy. They love globalism. https://www.americanpatriotdaily.com/latest/globalists-hate-trumps-latest-executive-order/
They believe that everyone should be included and the reality is that it’s not possible.
That’s a fantasy world that they create in their unrealistic movies.
The reality is that countries have borders. We compete. We should look out for our fellow citizens.
Liberals don’t believe that.
They don’t realize that we worked hard for the status of being the greatest country in the world.
To pretend that it’s okay to believe anything else is anti-American. We did that. We should rightfully take credit for it. Laura Ingraham gets that.
