Colin Kaepernick is responsible for the NFL protests.
He single-handedly ruined a beloved American sport with his self-righteous, anti-American protests.
Now he’s about to get a whole new job.
Colin Kaepernick has officially signed a book deal that is worth more than 1 million.
The same guy who is also suing the NFL for collusion.
His reasoning for this egregious lawsuit of course has to do with President Trump too.
Kaepernick is accusing Trump and NFL owners of collusion to keep him out of the league.
Which is ridiculous.
Kaepernick was and has always been a mediocre quarterback—at best.
Many NFL owners may have been weary of signing Kaepernick after he drew worldwide attention for not standing during the national anthem.
Kaepernick has led a group of several dozen other players to do the same.
And he said he did not stand for the national anthem because he believes there is inequality and police brutality in America.
Suddenly, the former NFL quarterback is a “leader” on social issues?
No, he’s not.
This is the same guy who also didn’t vote in the 2016 election.
Now the liberal mainstream media and publishing industry are donning him as the second coming of Martin Luther King Jr.?
He’s not—and anybody who thinks so is delusional.
The New York Post’s Page Six reports:
“Colin Kaepernick has inked a book deal worth just over $1 million with Random House imprint One World, Page Six has exclusively learned.
One World’s headed by book world superstar Chris Jackson, who also publishes Jay-Z and Ta-Nehisi Coates. He launched One World last year.
Ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback Kaepernick launched the current movement of NFL players protesting during the national anthem, and he’s recently filed a controversial collusion grievance against league owners.
He’s still looking for a job in the NFL after opting out of his 49ers contract earlier this year.
His campaign began last year, but the issue of NFL player protests has reached a new fever pitch after President Trump weighed in.
Page Six previously reported that Kaepernick had been seen “taking meetings with publishers in the New York offices of WME” to shop the planned book.
He’s repped as an athlete by agent Carlos Fleming, and the book deal, we hear, went through Andy McNicol on the Hollywood agency lit department.
Reps for Kaepernick did not comment. One World didn’t get back to us.”
It’s time to get off the Kaepernick bandwagon and stop treating him like he’s a savant when it comes to racial injustice.
What have you seen him do to support his causes in the last couple of months? Now he’s unjustly getting paid a million dollars to write a book.
Kaepernick is a joke.
