Jimmy Kimmel’s anti-Trump rhetoric is already destroying his career.
If by chance you don’t watch his show, the nonsense he spews about Republicans would make your head explode.
But his most recent tweet might finally be the nail in his coffin.
Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity have been exchanging blows lately.
It began when Kimmel showed a clip of the First Lady reading to children on Easter Sunday and thenmocked her accent on his show.
Hannity defended FLOTUS the following night on his show and called Kimmel “despicable” for mocking Melania Trump.
Then Kimmel responded to Hannity’s “despicable” comment with some unkind words for the Fox News star.
And that’s when Hannity tweeted:
On top of being a pervert you really are dumb, even with 100 writers. I have not been partners with @Disney since 2007. I’m really trying to help you here; CALL IGER! Apologize to the First Lady and I’ll stop. If not, I will NEVER stop. EVER! https://t.co/PQU2HtSakZ

Funny enough, it wasn’t long after that Kimmel tweeted an “apology”.
But it seemed Bob Iger may have forced the ABC host (Iger is Kimmel’s boss) to apologize, because it certainly wasn’t sincere.
Breitbart reports:
“Jimmy Kimmel issued a sarcasm-laden statement on Sunday saying that while his war of words with Fox News host Sean Hannity was “fun,” he’s sorry for offending LGBT people — not for mocking Melania Trump’s accent.

Jimmy Kimmel’s statement comes as a petition calling for a boycott of his show has garnered more than 100,000 signatures.
“We may not get him kicked off the air,” reads the recently launched petition. “But we can send a message that these attacks on our First Lady will NOT be tolerated!”
Hannity, meanwhile, says he will address Kimmel’s statement on his Fox News show on Monday.”
Just had this pop up. I am at a tournament with my daughter. I’ll have a full and comprehensive response tomorrow on Hannity. 9 EST FOX. pic.twitter.com/JLdZDa07BI

Kimmel may not have been fired for his tweet, but he has been talking about retiring for years. Maybe this will finally push him over the edge.
