Leftism is creeping into all corners of culture.
All traditional symbols are being destroyed or repurposed.
Now one iconic comic book character just got a ridiculous “woke” makeover.
Although comic book movies have reigned box offices for over ten years, comic book sales are on the decline.
One cause is that comic books have become increasingly “woke,” and fans are being turned off.
But the major comic books are controlled by global corporations who have the cash to burn money on unpopular comics in the name of “social justice.”
The Superman comics are the latest example, where the Man of Steel comes out as bisexual.
Just like his father before him, Jon Kent has fallen for a reporter 💙 Learn more about the story to come in SUPERMAN: SON OF KAL-EL #5: https://t.co/bUQAsos68o #DCPride pic.twitter.com/wfQPc3CEVD

Superman will also be crusading for progressive values such as fighting climate change and open borders.
From The New York Times.
“The new Superman, Jonathan Kent — who is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane — will soon begin a romantic relationship with a male friend, DC Comics announced Monday. That same-sex relationship is just one of the ways that Jonathan Kent, who goes by Jon, is proving to be a different Superman than his famous father. Since his new series, Superman: Son of Kal-El, began in July, Jon has combated wildfires caused by climate change, thwarted a high school shooting and protested the deportation of refugees in Metropolis.”
Tom Taylor, author of the new series remarked:
“The idea of replacing Clark Kent with another straight white savior felt like a missed opportunity…[A] new Superman had to have new fights — real world problems — that he could stand up to as one of the most powerful people in the world.”
Superman is not alone in his progressive makeover.
Recent comic book iterations portray Batman’s sidekick Robin as bisexual, Captain American as a homeless gay teenage runaway, and the new Aquaman as gay.
Actor Dean Cain, who played Superman in the television series Lois & Clark called out the creators of the new comic for jumping on the bandwagon of having iconic characters come out as gay.
Cain also added that the creators weren’t being braving, arguing:
“Brave would be having him fighting for the rights of gay people in Iran where they’ll throw you off a building for the offense of being gay…They’re talking about having him fight climate change and the deportation of refugees and he’s dating a hacktivist — whatever a hactivist is. Why don’t they have him fight the injustices that created the refugees whose deportation he’s protesting?”
Cain is correct.
The creators are not being brave; they’re being compliant progressives.
