Hollywood bigwigs have been feeding cancel culture throughout Donald Trump’s presidency.
They made the mistake of thinking it would never come for them.
But one Hollywood producer who hated Trump got a reality check from the cancel mob.
Writer/producer Chuck Lorre, who has created massive hit shows like “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory,” exhibited massive amounts of Trump Derangement Syndrome over the past five years.
He displayed vanity cards at the end of title sequences for his shows with disparaging messages for Trump and his associates.
Lorre joined in on the dogpiling of former Trump press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was slandered just as much by the corporate press as Kayleigh McEnany.
But like so many leftists before him, Lorre has himself run afoul of the cancel mob.
Lorre’s new show “United States of Al” is receiving tons of backlash.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, leftists are mad at the show for “casting a non-Afghan actor in its titular role, and for the character’s depiction in general.”
The actor playing the lead is Indian and grew up in South Africa.
This is a real TV show. Actually made by human people. On Planet Earth. In 2021. Behold: pic.twitter.com/hm9jDRq95O

The show is also executive produced by former CNN host Reza Aslan, who was fired after eating human brains during a broadcast.
Despite Aslan’s leftist credentials—he never apologized for saying he wanted to punch the Covington Catholic kids—he’s come under fire for the show.
Aslan responded to criticism by saying:
“Maybe learn a little about the show, its creators, it’s producers, it’s four Afghan writers, it’s plot, and pretty much everything else before you announce your opinion of it. Just a thought.”
This makes no difference whatsoever to the cancel mob.
Their outrage is not quelled by context.
Aslan added:
“Because it’s my show I can make sure that it is written and produced by Afghans and Muslims. That it uses the format to reframe the perception that people have of both. That it portrays a Muslim Afghan protagonist in a true and honest light.”
Lorre and Aslan are learning a harsh lesson about the left-wing cancel mobs.
They cannot be placated.
Liberals are finding this out the hard way, but a lot of them are still in denial, or they’re going along with it to protect themselves.
Trump is no longer around to be the target for everybody on the Left.
Their coalition is fracturing, and the radicals are making their move to take over the Democrat Party.
