One thing is for sure: Hollywood does not revere President Donald Trump.
But every once in a while, a Hollywood or sports legend finally admits to themselves, and publicly, that President Trump has had incredible success in his first term.
And Hollywood was furious when this famous actor praised President Trump saying, “This is a man of great integrity.”
The Hollywood royalty that unapologetically support President Trump – when admitting support is a potential career killer because of intolerant liberals – include Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Tim Allen, Roseanne Barr, and James Woods.
But one of Trump’s biggest Hollywood defenders is none other than acclaimed Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight.
Voight, who has been a devout Republican for decades, is on the frontlines combatting this irrational hate towards Trump for nearly four years now.
That’s why it wasn’t a surprise to working-class Americans when the actor posted a video on Twitter entitled, “A Message of Hope” where he delivered a prayer while showering Trump with well-deserved compliments – specifically how his administration handled the global pandemic ravaging the world.
Voight said, “We see President Trump as a magnificent soul, raising up this nation. For he loves his country, his neighbors thy people, Lord. He is a true patriot who has fought single-handed and knocked each poisoner down with his gifted tongue of truths and his true concern of everyone, every citizen.”
Of course, Voight is referring to his fellow Hollywood colleagues as the “poisoners” because they perpetuate vitriol against both Trump and his administration on a daily basis.
Voight added, “This is a man of great integrity, this is a man who held his head high, this is a man who took on evil and brought us to light.”
No truer words have been spoken about our commander in chief. Despite the liberal mainstream media and Hollywood’s desperate attempts to demonize Trump, Voight’s correct in saying Trump has “held his head high” through all of it. He should too.
The “Midnight Cowboy” actor concluded, “This is a man, a president, who guided his nation and his people on a path to greatness. This man, President Trump, had to fight a war, a war that was bigger than anything our nation has witnessed in our lifetime, though he shielded us and protected us through it. This is what a man of great love does. A man that will protect his country till the end with dignity, honor, respect and love.”
Trump’s approval rating is higher right now amid the Chinese coronavirus spreading in America. That means most Americans share Voight’s sentiments.
Like many of us blue-collar Americans, Voight is tired of the left’s radical behavior.
He once took to Twitter to say, “This is not peace. This is not love. This is hate among the radical left. No amount of book smart will show the given policy of what truth stands for. Truth is a powerful emotion. Love … is what we should be voting for. And I must say that we — the Republican Party — have voted for renewal, for a place of safety, a community where all can have peace. But this is war among the left. They have hate. It’s like a venom. No words of God, no words of love, but a radical emotion of hate.”
We all share that sentiment.
Hollywood bemoans when “one of their own” admits being a Trump supporter. Voight once called Trump “the greatest president of this century” much to Hollywood’s dismay.
And if you thought Voight wasn’t revered as one of Hollywood’s biggest legends, he also became the first recipient of the prestigious National Medal of Arts during Trump’s tenure.
Voight received the accolade “for his exceptional capacity as an actor to portray deeply complex characters,” which we all know he has.
Hollywood should listen to Voight more instead of treating him like an outcast because he clearly knows more about politics than they do.
