As if Hollywood couldn’t get any worse, it passes that barometer with flying colors.
The second you think there’s no way it could get this bad for the industry — an industry that prides itself on having a moral authority over working-class America, you get nothing but hypocrisy. And especially when it comes to the #Me Too Movement that is still less than a year old.
And Hollywood was just exposed for something that most people didn’t see coming.
Pedophilia is something that has pervaded the gossip/rumors surrounding Hollywood for a long time because there has been an alleged underground pedophilia ring since the beginning of Tinseltown.
1980’s child actor, Corey Haim, who was best known for The Lost Boys, Stephen King’s The Silver Bullet and Lucas, was allegedly passed around Hollywood like a piece of meat since he was a child as young as 8-years-old.
His 80’s child actor best friend and co-star of The Lost Boys confirmed that he carried with him a deep depression for decades – given his childhood – that ultimately led to his overdose only several years ago.
Another child actor, Elijah Wood, confirmed that there was something sinister lurking behind the scenes that Wood has said he was grateful he didn’t fall victim to because of his overprotective mother.
But some of the current Hollywood elitists keep joking about pedophilia like it’s some casually innocent Jerry Seinfeld bit.
And Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 1 & II director was just exposed for this that got him consequently fired from the franchise.
James Gunn has had a successful career over the last 5 years with his Guardians of the Galaxy smash hits. But it was discovered this week that he has a dark history of telling rotten, horrifyingly terrible, jokes about pedophilia and rape.
Gunn once tweeted, “I like when little boys touch me in my silly place.”
And another disgusting tweet about rape read, “The best thing about being raped is when you’re done being raped and it’s like ‘whew this feels great, not being raped!’”
But while all that seems like it should be horrendous enough, Rick and Morty and Community creator Dan Harmon was just exposed for a baby pedophilia video satire that was so far from funny.
Harmon has since deleted the 2009 video but it was a short video that showed him breaking into a house and abusing a baby doll in the same vain as the popular Showtime serial killer show Dexter.
Apparently, instead of being a serial killer it was… you could probably guess where that goes. Harmon has deleted it since.
Michael Ian Black has been a two-bit Hollywood actor for a long time and he had a series of pro-pedophilia tweets that were simply mind-blowing.
He tweeted, “I don’t like watching ‘iCarly’ with my daughter because there is nobody on that show I want to molest.”
Another disgusting tweet simply read, “Idea: sell little containers of jizz as ‘boy caviar.’”
Just a year later he wrote, “What’s Latin for ‘bring me some boys”?”
What’s disturbing is that there is so much time in between these tweets because that clearly indicates that it’s always on his mind.
But you have to understand that this is nothing new because one former female Marvel filmmaker, Lexi Alexander – known for Marvel’s Punisher: War Zone, knew about this obsession for a long time.
Alexander tweeted “You know…I get that the ‘alt-right’ is going after Hollywood…but is it normal to have that many high profile people within one industry who love to make jokes about pedophilia? An estimated 25% of girls and 16% of boys experience sexual abuse before the age of 18. LOL ?”
She mysteriously deleted her entire Twitter profile soon after making this comment which is incredibly bizarre given how long these males have gotten away with these jokes and the second she criticizes, all of the sudden, her social media presence “poofs” into thin air.
If this is any indication, the #Me Too Movement isn’t over yet.
