Hollywood is clearly a propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.
That became even more apparent over the past five years as Trump Derangement Syndrome swept through Tinseltown.
Now Hollywood elites are emptying their wallets to save one sinking Democrat.
Democrats are terrified that California could slip into the clutches of a Republican governor.
Gavin Newsom is on shaky ground in the state’s recall effort; polls show that it’s a 50-50 proposition as to whether or not Newsom is toast.
If Californians vote “yes” to recall Newsom on the first ballot question, whichever candidate gets the most votes on the second ballot question becomes governor.
The leading candidate to replace Newsom is conservative commentator and author Larry Elder, and it’s Defcon 1 for Democrats.
The Democrats are so panicked, they’ve unleashed a barrage of hit pieces against Elder.
The most despicable came courtesy of The Los Angeles Times, which called Elder a black white supremacist.

Now Hollywood bigwigs are pitching in to save Newsom’s foundering administration.
From Breitbart:
“Hollywood elites including Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Rob Reiner, and Barbra Streisand are pouring money into California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) effort to beat the state’s recall election. The race is shaping up to be a nail-biter that could see voters removing the incumbent governor — who is beloved among showbiz leftists — and replacing him with a Republican. Other entertainment figures backing Newsom with big checks include Netflix’s co-CEO Reed Hastings, Casey Wasserman, and Byron Allen.”
Newsom has no cap on fundraising, so he and the Democrats will go all out to ensure the coveted gubernatorial seat stays blue.
Hollywood and the Democrats go hand in hand, so expect the attacks to escalate even further.
For Elder’s part, he’s handled the smears with aplomb.
During an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Elder said:
“I anticipated that would happen. This is why a lot of people don’t go into politics, because of the politics of personal destruction. This is not the first time the L.A. Times has attacked me. There is another writer that all but called me a black David Duke…I am told that Senator Dianne Feinstein is more feeble than Joe Biden, and if she retires and becomes incapacitated, they are afraid that I will appoint a Republican [senator], and that would shift the whole balance in the Senate.”
The Democrats have zero compunction about savaging Elder, so expect the ugly smear tactics to continue.
Hollywood progressives will pat themselves on the back if they can stop the first black man from becoming governor of California.
