The Democrats behaved like lunatics during the entire Donald Trump presidency.
It culminated in an election that was rife with voter irregularities.
And one Hollywood actress said something mind-numbing about the 2020 election.
Democrats and their media allies pressed Hollywood celebrities to become more political in the Donald Trump era.
The result was one uninformed screed after another from a privileged Hollywood elite.
Actress Scarlett Johansson said that entertainers shouldn’t feel obligated to be political, but then she contradicted herself and did exactly that.
In an interview with “The Gentlewoman,” Johansson said:
“I don’t think actors have obligations to have a public role in society…Some people want to, but the idea that you’re obligated to because you’re in the public eye is unfair. You didn’t choose to be a politician, you’re an actor. Your job is to reflect our experience to ourselves; your job is to be a mirror for an audience, to be able to have an empathetic experience through art. That is what your job is.”
Johansson is correct, but she’s ignored her own advice on several occasions and waded into politics.
She remarked about how relieved she was when Joe Biden was announced as the winner of the 2020 election, saying:
“You could hear people losing their minds outside, and I just cried. It was a pretty crazy reaction. Oh, my God, it’s over. It felt like the end of a war, you know?”
The only reason it felt like the end of a war was because the so-called mainstream media field had nonstop political hysteria for four years.
Every single thing Trump did was turned into a “scandal” by the press.
On top of that, the corporate press ignored stories that were damaging to Biden.
One survey showed that 17% of voters in swing states would not have voted for Biden if they had heard about some of Trump’s accomplishments or some of Biden’s scandals.
Johansson and her Marvel Cinematic Universe co-stars Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Bautista, and David Harbour were all vocal with their progressive politics.
Evans, Bautista, and Harbour have all gone on hate-filled rants against Trump, and Ruffalo has literally expressed support for communists.
Johansson herself has been the target of radical left-wing mobs because she had the audacity to say that actors should be free to play any role regardless of their identity.
However, Johansson caved to pressure and backed out of playing the role of a transgender man because of backlash from transgender zealots; they were furious because she isn’t trans in real life.
The Left has gone completely insane, and liberals like Johansson have empowered them through vocal support or acquiescence.
Meanwhile, MCU colleague Chris Pratt has been vilified by the Left for being a Christian who supports the Second Amendment.
He also caught flak for not attending a fundraiser for Biden.
Johansson and other Hollywood liberals want compliance, no matter what they say.
