One thing we know for sure about the coronavirus is it has no political, religious or social status bias.
Celebrities like Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Kevin Durant, Idris Elba and Donovan Mitchell have all contracted the deadly virus over the last couple weeks.
And now we’re learning this famous Clinton ally just tested positive for the coronavirus after getting life altering news.
Thankfully, Bill and Hillary Clinton aren’t in power amid the coronavirus sweeping the United States. If that were the case, it would have been an unmitigated disaster to which the country might have never recovered.
President Trump’s administration has done an excellent job thus far during the crisis, which is something the deep state and the Clintons must absolutely hate.
The Clintons are slowly dwindling into irrelevancy. That’s probably why former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is launching her own podcast to desperately latch on to that last tiny bit of notoriety before inevitably becoming dust in the wind.
Speaking of irrelevancy; nobody is probably feeling more irrelevant than Clinton ally and now-convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein who was recently convicted of third-degree rape and first-degree sexual assault. For the conviction of those two felonies, the judge handed down a 23-year sentence, only two years shy of the maximum.
At first, his whole walker charade seemed like a ploy to gain sympathy from both the jury for his trial and from the judge that handed down his sentencing, but it does look like his health has declined significantly. https://offthewire.com/harvey-weinstein-said-how-could-this-happen-in-america-following-his-guilty-verdict/
Weinstein will likely spend the rest of his life in prison, given his age and health problems, but to add fuel to the fire for the disgraced super producer, he also just tested positive for the coronavirus. https://offthewire.com/harvey-weinstein-did-the-oddest-thing-when-he-was-booked-for-six-counts-of-felony-rape/
Deadline reports that just days after being transferred to the Wende Correctional Facility from New York City’s Rikers Island, Weinstein is now in mandatory medical isolation for the 14-days required to let the contagion pass through the body.
But a source with knowledge said Weinstein “is fine,” and “he is over the hump and just mending” after being officially diagnosed on March 22nd. That means his immune system is functioning well enough to combat the virus. And he may be sequestered for even longer than 14 days because of his pre-existing conditions.
Maybe his declining health was just an act after all.
The Empire State is being hit the hardest by the coronavirus right now. New York City has officially become the global capital of Covid-19 and it’s running rampant through the jails and prisons throughout the state.
As a result, New York, California and several other states are working to release non-violent or soon-to-be furloughed convicted criminals to serve out the remainder of their sentence on house arrest in order to mitigate the virus spreading through these prisons.
Weinstein’s fellow high-profile Hollywood sex offender, Bill Cosby, is moving forward with a petition for his sentence to be commuted. A rep for Cosby said, “Nothing has been filed, but we’re exploring all legal actions.”
The Academy Award winning producer for “Shakespeare in Love” just began his 23-year prison sentence so Weinstein will be looking at his 8-by-11-foot cell for many, many years before he has the possibility of parole.
