Hollywood loves to spread its activism through movies.
Left-wing elites lecture the rest of the country because they presume to know what’s best.
But one actress is promoting a new film that proves she’s a complete hypocrite.
Hollywood Hypocrisy
Leftists are notorious for being hypocrites.
They say one thing and do the opposite.
They claim to be for the poor but promote policies that hurt them.
And if the poor disagree politically, the left’s true disdain for them seeps through.
The left claims to be for women and minorities.
But if those groups step out of line, they’re shunned.
Leftists claim to care about climate change.
But they leave monstrous carbon footprints with their private jets.
Leftists claim they want education for the disadvantaged.
But they fight charter schools tooth and nail.
They also fight redistricting of public schools when their kids are adversely affected.
The list of left-wing hypocrisy is endless.
But perhaps the biggest issue is guns.
The Children Will Lead Us
Leftists want gun confiscation.
They know it isn’t popular.
So they try to chip away at gun rights piece by piece.
They use tragic school shootings to whip up people into a frenzy, then push gun policy.
But recently they used a new tack.
The harrowing school shooting in Parkland, Florida saw the high school students promoted to gun control advocates.
The left used the kids as a shield to push their agenda.
Many celebrities participated in this movement.
One of them was actress Jamie Lee Curtis.
The “scream queen” is a big leftist who recently ripped the country while doing press in Canada.
Curtis also promoted gun control through the Parkland students:
Heroes everywhere. Cowards too. We all have a choice how we will participate. Not just marching. Daily doings and actions of love and brotherhood and sisterhood and humanhood.

But leftists like Curtis completely ignored the students who disagreed with the so-called prevailing narrative.
Kyle Kashuv, one of the Parkland students, believes in the Second Amendment and pushes back on the left’s gun control narrative.
Perhaps even more galling is how the left thinks about guns.
They believe in gun control for the average citizen, but they hire armed bodyguards and live in gated communities with armed security.
The message is their security is more important than yours.
Actors like Curtis also star in films that promote the idea of armed self defense.
In the new “Halloween” sequel, Curtis plays a gun-toting woman determined to protect her family.

One wonders if her character opposes the Second Amendment while owning an arsenal.
Persistent Myths
The left gets away with this hypocrisy because of false narratives.
The lies about gun violence run deep.
These lies generate fear, which gives the left a pretext to grab guns.
First, roughly two-thirds of gun deaths are suicides.
Of the remaining one-third, the overwhelming majority is gang violence.
School shootings and accidents are minuscule.
But the narrative is school shootings are on the rise.
That isn’t even true. The numbers have been stagnant for decades.
As for gang violence, most of that occurs in cities and states with the strictest gun control laws.
Gun confiscation doesn’t even lead to lower crime and homicide.
London recently surpassed New York City in murders, and they took away guns a long time ago.
The left doesn’t even consider the number of crimes averted by defensive use of a gun.
They just want their Utopia.
And guns aren’t allowed.
