The one golden rule that you should always have in the back of your mind is that no matter what group someone is largely associated with; they don’t all share common morals, philosophies or religion.
One good example of this is movie star Chris Pratt who is one of the most bankable actors in the world right now but he’s not exactly a liberal Hollywood “elitist” because he’s a well-known Christian conservative. Obviously, this is rare.
Another really good outlier of this trait is actor Gary Sinise. And he just did the most extraordinary thing that you’re going to want to hear about.
Gary Sinise has a long extraordinary career in the film and television industry that spans four decades.
Despite his forty years of credits, Sinise finally exploded onto the acting scene with his iconic performance as Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump. For a while, he became a hot commodity in the industry and would go on to play incredible roles in movies like Apollo 13 and Ransom.
Nowadays he sticks to television like his nearly decade-long role on CSI: NY and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. He’s doing just fine.
The trip was called “Snowball Express,” which was the official program of the Gary Sinise Foundation where they loaded up 15 airplanes and treated them all to an all-expense paid five-day vacation.
Sinise said, “Each one of these children who are going on these airplanes have lost a parent in military services—either combat-related or illness or unfortunately suicide sometimes. We wanna take care of these kids and make sure they know we don’t forget.”
The Forrest Gump actor also posted a picture of him in front of a slew of American Flags, “We Remember. Each flag representing the fallen hero of over 600 families attending GarySiniseFound 2018 Snowball Express event at WaltDisneyWorld.”
We Remember.

American Airlines organized the event for the foundation, which according to the website of the foundation, is one of the their corporate sponsors.
Sinise wrote, “Thank you so much @AmericanAir for the amazing support you give to those who serve and @GarySiniseFound . A tremendous spirit of volunteerism and giving back to our special Snowball families of the fallen. It’s been a great year. More to come in 2019. We Remember.”
These kinds of deeds have always been rare in the Hollywood community. Many of them are too busy obsessing over their public image instead of appreciating those that put their lives on the line so that they can be millionaires.
Not Gary Sinise though.
The 63-year-old actor always lends a hand and shows his appreciation for men and women in the U.S. services. Just last year he visited those men and women stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In fact, on the front page of the website to his Gary Sinise Foundation, reads, “We serve our nation by honoring our defenders veterans first responders their families & those in need.”
Thankfully we still have some grounded Hollywood celebrities out there.
