Donald Trump broke the brain of many corporate media journalists.
They exposed themselves as deranged hyper-partisans.
And one former ESPN anchor went completely insane with one Trump comment.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real phenomenon.
People have literally had to seek counseling as a result of the hysteria created by the so-called mainstream media surrounding Trump.
And former ESPN and MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann might be the grand test case for a journalist who suffers from TDS while also contributing to the culture that creates TDS.
Olbermann has gone on many rants against Trump and the Republicans, but he might’ve taken the cake this time.
After Trump’s ill-advised comment about the Constitution, Olbermann called for Trump to be arrested by the U.S. military.
The controversy began when Elon Musk released the Twitter Files, which showed that the social media giant intentionally buried the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” in order to prevent Trump from winning re-election in 2020.
Trump ranted on Truth Social, “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
That triggered Olbermann to say, “Again, this isn’t difficult: Trump just threatened to ‘terminate’ the constitution. Send a military detachment to Mar-a-Lago, seize him, detain him in a stockade or brig, and try him in a military court. This is an open attempt at a Revolution to overthrow the government.”

First, Trump’s comments do not rise to the level of “revolution.”
The idea of sending in the military to arrest Trump is psychotic.
Trump later clarified his comments, writing, “The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS. What I said was that when there is ‘MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,’ as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG. Only FOOLS would disagree with that and accept STOLEN ELECTIONS. MAGA!”
Trump is correct that Big Tech and media suppression in 2020 were horrendous actions undertaken by corrupt actors, but there is no mechanism for redoing the election.
Regardless, Trump’s comments do not justify sending in the Army to arrest him.
That is next-level crazy, but so is Keith Olbermann.
He recently called for the Supreme Court to be disbanded.
Olbermann wrote, “It has become necessary to dissolve the Supreme Court of the United States. The first step is for a state the ‘court’ has now forced guns upon, to ignore this ruling. Great. You’re a court? Why and how do think you can enforce your rulings? #IgnoreTheCourt…Hey SCOTUS, send the SCOTUS army here to enforce your ruling, you House of Lords radicals pretending to be a court.”
Olbermann wants to “dissolve” the Supreme Court and send in the military to arrest the former president, but he would never admit that he is a despicable fascist.
