The Left is using sports to divide the population.
Professional athletes around the globe are politicizing sports by engaging in protests.
And fans were furious at one anti-American protest.
Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick ignited the anti-American anthem protests in 2016 by taking a knee during “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Since then, kneeling during the national anthem has become some vague symbol of political protest against one’s country.
Players on England’s national soccer team kneeled for the anthem ahead of a European Championship match against Croatia.
Fans were none too pleased with the political display.
Fans once again boo #ENG players taking the knee – although it lasted around 10 seconds
Hats off to #cro for refusing to join in this ridiculous charade pic.twitter.com/9b9p8Gow6i

Ironically, in 2017 it was members of NFL teams kneeling for “The Star-Spangled Banner” prior to a game played in Wembley Stadium in London, then standing for “God Save the Queen.”
Now the English are protesting their own country.
That’s how the parasite of leftism spreads.
The English Football Association released the following statement:
“They are doing this as a mechanism of peacefully protesting against discrimination, injustice and inequality…This is personally important to the players and the values the team collectively represents. This gesture of unity and fighting against inequality can be traced back as far as the 18th century.”
This is naive virtue signaling, and nothing more.
“Injustice” and “inequality” are such ambiguous terms, and no solutions are offered.
The Left uses the tactic of a nondescript emotional plea to get people on board with their agenda, then they inevitably advocate for some socialistic policy change.
People are tired of this game, which is why the fans booed.
If the players want to protest anything, they should be railing against the Great Reset, a globalist scheme that will only worsen inequality.
The economic and psychological damage of the worldwide lockdowns are still being calculated.
While working class people suffered, the elites were allowed to break the rules and enrich their friends through bailouts and targeted lockdowns.
But players are kneeling to protest against “discrimination.”
Exactly what discrimination they’re talking about is anyone’s guess.
Leftists look for disparities between groups and conclude that the reason must be unjust discrimination.
Athletes don’t realize they’re only making problems worse by dividing people when they should be united, such as during an international soccer tournament.
