The “worldwide leader in sports” refuses to stick to sports.
ESPN has become insufferably political.
Now ESPN shut down a broadcast for one unbelievable reason.
The Supreme Court recently overturned Roe v. Wade, and leftists have gone hysterical.
The ruling means that the abortion question returns to individual states, but that fact has been intentionally ignored by most people on the left.
And even the sports world has been affected.
ESPN’s NBA Today host Malika Andrews took two minutes out of the broadcast to rant about abortion “rights.”
Andrews, near tears, juxtaposed the recent celebration of Title IX with the court’s ruling on abortion.
Here’s ESPN’s @malika_andrews — who also embarrassed herself talking about Kyle Rittenhouse — almost in tears on ESPN over the Supreme Court giving abortion rights back to the states.

Ironically, radical leftists are undermining Title IX by advocating for biological males to compete in women’s sports.
And Andrews is again forwarding the lie that abortion was just outlawed in the country.
There is no right to an abortion.
Even dyed-in-the-wool liberals who support abortion admit that Roe v. Wade was badly decided.
Alan Dershowitz, Laurence Tribe, and even Ruth Bader Ginsburg made that point.
In 1992, Ginsburg said during a lecture at NYU, “Doctrinal limbs too swiftly shaped may prove unstable.”
She was correct.
There was no right to an abortion in the Constitution, and the justices simply made one up.
Ginsburg added, “Would there have been the twenty-year controversy we have witnessed, reflected most recently in the Supreme Court’s splintered decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey? A less encompassing Roe, one that merely struck down the extreme Texas law and went no further on that day, I believe and will summarize why [it] might have served to reduce rather than to fuel controversy.”
The court overreached when it crafted the right to an abortion out of thin air.
One of the consequences is that at least two generations of Americans have been deceived into believing that abortion is a constitutionally protected right when it is not.
That’s partly why so many liberals are freaking out right now; they have not been properly educated on America’s laws.
This isn’t the first time Andrews has melted down on television.
She sermonized after Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of bogus murder charges, and she held back tears upon the news of alleged rapist Jacob Blake getting shot by Kenosha police officers.
For some reason, ESPN has deemed it appropriate for their anchors to nakedly discuss politics on the air.
That is, of course, so long as the politics are leftists.
The network would burn to the ground if a conservative commentator, one of the few remaining at ESPN, sounded off about politics.
Sage Steele, a rare outspoken conservative at ESPN, was scolded for expressing her opinions on a separate podcast.
ESPN football analyst Ryan Clark even refused to work with Steele because of her political opinions.
That is how bonkers ESPN has become.
Other conservatives like Curt Schilling, Mike Ditka, and Britt McHenry have long been purged from ESPN.
In fact, the network’s ombudsman was let go not long after reporting that the company had a pervasive liberal bias.
Leftists won’t be satisfied until every facet of American life has become political.
