There’s literally nothing President Trump can do to put outraged liberals at ease with how the country is moving forward into the future.
They ignore our glowing economy, thriving stock market, and low unemployment percentage because they just don’t like him. It’s just something everybody has to get used to, unfortunately.
And now the hatred has bled over into the NFL because the Miami Dolphins owner was forced to make this shocking announcement following his fundraiser for President Trump.
At one point last year, the Miami Dolphins were at the forefront of banning its players from kneeling during the National Anthem – a movement that Colin Kaepernick initiated a little over three years ago.
The team implemented a team policy in the Dolphins handbook that would either suspend or fine players who continued the anti-American practice. But then the Associated Press got a hold of the new policy and liberals were outraged by the new team policy.
The Dolphins suspended the policy and eventually caused the NFL to strike a deal with the NFL Players Association suspending any punishment towards players who continue to kneel.
The NFL and NFLPA issued a joint statement saying, “Through recent discussions, have been working on a resolution to the anthem issue. In order to allow this constructive dialogue to continue, we have come to a standstill agreement on the NFLPA’s grievance and on the NFL’s anthem policy.
No new rules relating to the anthem will be issued or enforced for the next several weeks while these confidential discussions are ongoing.”
In the meantime, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has been very active on the NFL social justice committee and even formed RISE (Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality) in 2015 to combat “very complicated issues of racism” and to “eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations.”
But Ross faced backlash after he held a fundraiser at his estate in the Hamptons where he raised over $2 million for President Trump’s re-election campaign.
Amongst the many players who were furious at Ross for the fundraiser was his own star wide receiver Kenny Stills who posted on Twitter, “You can’t have a non profit with this mission statement then open your doors to Trump.”

Ross was a founding member of the NFL’s social justice committee along with Arizona Cardinals Owner Michael Bidwill, Atlanta Falcons Owner Arthur Blank, and Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman.
And now he’ll be stepping down from the committee to reportedly focus on RISE but it’s obvious the other NFL players likely put pressure on the committee members to make a change because of the fundraiser.
Stills continued to slam Ross and during an interview recently he said, “I think there’s other candidates that he could support. It’s not about Democrat or Republican or any of those things. It’s literally about why. Why are you trying to help this man raise money to continue to do things that he’s been doing. It just doesn’t align to be running a non-profit focused on equality and talking about sports and equality and then to be holding a fundraiser for a man that we know isn’t standing up for that same cause or championing that same cause.”
The hypocrisy from Stills is mind-numbing. Doesn’t Ross pay him millions of dollars a year? And this is the kind of respect he gets in return? It’s just silly the kind of audacity Stills is tone-deaf to.
