Hollywood has become a megaphone for the establishment.
Whatever the regime wants done, Hollywood obliges.
Now a Disney remake is losing its star for a reason that infuriated Dr. Fauci.
The COVID regime is tightening the screws to all Americans.
Despite nationwide COVID fatigue, Biden and the Democrats are extending the forever-pandemic.
Biden issued guidelines for all employers to mandate vaccination for all their employees, and that goes for movie studios.
And the vaccine mandate is allegedly why Emilio Estevez will not be returning to the series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
From Deadline:
“The Mighty Ducks franchise will continue without Gordon Bombay. Emilio Estevez, who reprised his role from the 1992 movie and its 1994 and 1996 sequels in Season 1 of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, will not be back for the Disney+ series’ upcoming second season, I have learned…Disney Television Studios’ ABC Signature, which produces the hockey-themed sequel series, made the decision not to pick up Estevez’s option for Season 2 after weeks of back and forth with his team over the show’s Covid vaccination requirement…Heading into Season 2, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers — like many Disney TV Studios series — has adopted a mandatory vaccination policy for the cast and crew…”
Estevez wouldn’t be the first star to walk away from a production due to COVID restrictions.
Rapper and actor Ice Cube recently left a production because of the vaccine mandate.
Estevez initially declined to comment on the matter, but eventually released a statement saying he had Long Haul COVID, and left the production because of a contract dispute.
Estevez wrote in part:
“I am not anti-vaxx. Full stop. I take this pandemic very seriously, and I am often teased about my continued following of the safety protocols and my abundance of caution…In the final analysis, this was nothing more than a good old fashioned contract dispute and not, as some would believe an anti-vaccine position. While I can’t speak for anyone else in regards to this polarizing, sensitive issue, I have my own lived experience.”
People were quick to point out that Estevez did not mention his vaccination status.
If he did not want to get the jab, it would make sense considering he has natural immunity.
Estevez continued:
“I suffered the summer and fall of 2020 from what we now know as ‘Long Haul Syndrome’…Simply put, I am anti-bully. My exit from the show was due to a myriad of creative differences – any other narrative is false.”
The “anti-bully” line suggests that he did not want to be coerced into taking the vaccine.
Estevez also mentioned his “lived experience,” which can be interpreted as an explanation as to why he didn’t want to get the jab because of his bout with Long Haul COVID.
All things considered, it’s hard to believe Estevez would be walking away from the franchise after 30 years were it not for the edicts from the COVID regime.
