The left has been completely overtaken by “wokeness.”
And it’s trickling down into all of the cultural content.
Now Disney is promoting one message to kids that will leave you speechless.
Far-left radicals have been aggressively pushing the idea of body positivity, i.e. there is nothing unhealthy about being massively overweight.
The idea—like all ideas on the left—started in the halls of academia with literal disciplines and academic journals called Fat Studies.
As this bizarre idea has gotten a foothold in the culture, obese models have been featured on the cover of fashion magazines, and now it’s being fed to children.
Disney produced a new animated short titled Reflect about an obese ballerina.
Disney have created their first plus-size protagonist for a powerful short film about body dysmorphia called Reflect.

Liberal Disney fans were over the moon over the announcement.
From The Daily Mail:
“The film, entitled Reflect, follows the story of a young plus-size ballet dancer named Bianca, ‘who battles her own reflection, overcoming doubt and fear by channeling her inner strength, grace and power.’ The animation has left fans in tears, with one viewer penning that she wished the film had been made when she was a child…Disney fans have long called on the corporation to create plus-size princesses, with a post in 2015 that showed Disney characters given plus-size makeovers going viral. Last year, Disney was accused of pushing ‘unrealistic beauty standards’ on children after including a character with exaggerated proportions in the short film Inner Workings.”
The entertainment industry has been called out by people for promoting a lifestyle that will invariably lead to all sorts of health issues.
Worse yet, obese celebrities are cheered, then chastised if they lose weight.
For instance, Adele was ripped for getting fit after struggling with her weight for years.
Meanwhile, Lizzo has been celebrated for being “body-positive.”
Comedian Bill Maher is one of the few people on the left who is willing to call out the nonsense.
He said on his show, “There’s a disturbing trend going on in America these days: rewriting science to fit ideology or just to fit what you want reality to be. We’ve gone from fat acceptance to fat celebration. That’s new. That is new…To view letting yourself go as a point of pride? … We used to at least try and be fit and healthy and society praised those who succeeded…People like Adele face shame campaigns for losing weight! This is madness! … It’s Orwellian how often positivity is used to describe what’s not healthy! … Of course, you can get away with anything bad for you when you’re young…Let me ask you this: Have you ever seen a fat 90-year-old? … ‘Healthy at any weight’ is an unchallenged lie that people tell themselves so they can go on eating whatever they want.”
The fact that this fringe idea has now made its way down to child entertainment is troubling, and it’s indicative of how leftists operate.
The only way their ridiculous ideas can take hold is if they indoctrinate the next generation of young people.
