Hollywood isn’t shy about its political agenda.
Countless movies and TV shows contain overt liberal messaging.
But Disney took it to the next level with its latest movie.
Celebrity Soapbox
Hollywood leftists make good use of their near monopoly of the culture.
They openly weave their politics into the entertainment.
They also feel the need to condescend to the rest of the country.
Awards shows are chock full of celebrities accepting a gold statuette, then lecturing middle America about greed and excess.
The speeches and PSAs seem to be growing.
Some actor is daily promoting a march or sit-in.
The hard left wants everything to be political.
Sadly, they’re getting their wish.
Previously apolitical celebrities are getting swept up into the cause.
For example, pop star Taylor Swift.
In the past, Swift remained mum on politics.
Many leftists even attacked her for not speaking out politically.
Finally, Swift endorsed Tennessee Democrat Phil Bredesen in his failed senatorial run.
The great irony is the left would’ve told her to shut up if she’d espoused conservative beliefs.
Disney Messaging
Film is a powerful engine for social change.
Leftists understand this.
It’s why they seek total control of Hollywood.
Arguably the most powerful entity in the industry is Disney.
It’s the most recognizable brand in entertainment.
As leftists have moved further left, they’ve pulled Disney with them.
Their latest film “Ralph Breaks the Internet” is a clear example.
The sequel to the hit “Wreck It Ralph” includes feminist messaging.
Vanellope, A character voiced by leftist comedienne Sarah Silverman, encounters several Disney princesses in the film.
And she balks at their “retrograde” beliefs.
When Vanellope claims she’s also a princess, the cadre of women asks her if she’s been “poisoned” or “kidnapped or enslaved.”
In the same scene, another princess asks Vanellope, “Do people assume all of your problems got solved because a big strong man showed up?”
This type of propaganda isn’t just poking fun at the classic films.
It’s finger-wagging at the past.
The films were successful in large part because of their truthful themes and archetypes.
But the modern left crumples it all up and labels it problematic.
Cultural Breakdown
If it weren’t obvious enough, actress Keira Knightley said as much.
Actress Kristen Bell, who voiced a Disney princess, had similar sentiments.
Movies are not a substitute for parents.
It’s the job of Hollywood to entertain, not to preach.
But that’s not how the left sees it.
Vladimir Lenin said, “Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world.”
This is how the left thinks.
They don’t believe in objective truth.
They don’t believe in human nature.
The left sees everyone as a ball of clay that can be molded.
This is why they attempt to push their message on kids at a younger and younger age.
It should come as no surprise that Bernie Sanders created a book geared toward children.
It’s never too soon to begin the indoctrination.
