Dennis Rodman was an absolute defensive force in the NBA. And you kind of have to be if your offensive ability is almost the laughing stock of the league – Rodman was absolutely horrendous at shooting.
The Hall of Famer was also one of the most eccentric flamboyant personalities in the league – constantly dying his hair, wearing gaudy jewelry and on some occasions would even wear women’s clothing.
And the former Chicago Bulls superstar allegedly just got caught up in the most bizarre scandal.
Dennis Rodman was probably one of the most elite defenders in his era. That Chicago Bulls team he was on with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen is arguably one of the great NBA teams in the league’s history. They were unstoppable and they have multiple championships to prove it.
But you might be surprised how he’s served as a diplomat for North Korea.
Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, is good friends with the two-time Defensive Player of the Year and he frequents to the country.
On the other hand, the former Chicago Bulls star was allegedly caught doing one of the most bizarre things.
He is being ensnared for his alleged involvement in a Tuesday afternoon clothing heist at a yoga studio, according to a new report. The theft allegedly took place after Rodman showed up to VIBES Hot Yoga in affluent Newport Beach, Calif., around 12:35 p.m. with three other people.
In the surveillance video provided by TMZ Sports, Rodman and another unknown woman are seen perusing items in the reception area of the yoga store before the woman begins to remove a garment from one of the racks. The woman then walks directly behind Rodman, who appears to shield her from a receptionist sitting behind a large desk, which was apparently the opportune moment to stash the apparel in her purse.
After a few minutes, Rodman’s male friend and the other woman also walk into the business and the man in question picks up a large crystal art piece from the reception desk and tries to place it on a steel dolly, which looked like he intended to buy it.
Then that’s when things took a turn for the worse because the man dropped the crystal piece and it shattered on the floor. That’s when the woman was allegedly cued to shove clothing items into her purse. Ideally, the crystal shattering on the floor was likely intentional.
Then they all left separately.
The group allegedly made off with more than $500 in merchandise during the brazen heist, in addition to breaking the $2,500 crystal.
Nobody has been charged yet but the video speaks for itself and looks suspicious at best.
